This is a collaboration live between Universal Studios and Oricon.

If Yukarin and Kalafina are the only two artists performing that day, that would be interesting. And it'll be even more interesting if they do song collaborations ROFL. :XD:

Yukarin and Kalafina are like almost polar opposites of each other, music-wise and not to mention the fans as well unless they have an interest in both. The chemistry on stage and among the audience may turn out to be amusing in a lot of ways. :XD:

And yeah, I wonder how the moe-ness part will work. Would be funny if Kalafina were made to do the めろ～ん routine. :ohoho:
 
@Keiri: well I do have several buddies who are interested in both Yukarin and Kalafina though they can't attend this event anyway... USJ is in Osaka, right? :XD:

Would be awesome.... :nosebleed: ... I like her songs in Nanoha's series, but haven't listened to her live before..(in fact, have seen one, but it seems that she lip-synched in that stage...Orz..) Will wait for some pics/reviews from this event... :XD: .

Yep, all the way in Osaka. They should do something similar in the capital next time or something. Yukarin + Kalafina. :XD:

Yukarin isn't too bad. I've never been to her own lives but I've been to lives where she's a participant. She didn't lip-synch in those and she sounded pretty good, though I imagine no one really minds how she sings because everyone is usually too busy fanboying/girling over her. Yukari Kingdom citizens often cause vibrations in the concert hall but it's awesome. :XD:
 
^ Yukarin sounds pretty decent for an idol type, but nobody cares anyway so... :XD:

Wow, Kalafina singing a Nanoha song. Couldn't even EXPECT this one. :nosebleed: Hoshizora no SPICA is a really nice song, although my fave from Yukarin's songs is still Sweet Darlin'. :XD:
And if it comes to MGLN, wouldn't something like Eternal Blaze or Innocent Starter sound even more awesome in Kalafina's version? :ayashii: Especially Eternal Blaze that is not too far from Progressive style-wise.
 
^I'm not Nanoha's fan, but Eternal Blaze is a good song, too... It's just because Hoshisora no SPICA is my favourite among Yukarin's song.. :shy: .

How about Yukarin singing Kalafina's song... :XD: (well...I mean collaberation..coz I can't think of any Kalafina's song that proper to sing by only one people..lol.) I don't know why but I think of Yukarin's cute-idol-like voice in Fairytale...maybe because I think of Mai-Hime's It's only a fairytale.. lol.

Hmm... I wonder if Wakana had a chance to go for the Jaws and Jurassic Park rides. It's her first time at USJ after all. :ohoho:

As to Yukari singing Kalafina songs... Might work for all we know. Personally, I don't find it too hard to imagine Hikari no Senritsu from her. :ayashii:

"Hikari no Senritsu" sounds like a good choice for Yukarin. It has a rather prominent main vocal and the melody seems suitable for her voice. :ayashii:

Perhaps it would have been interesting had they actually requested Yukarin and Kalafina to do some sort of collaboration or song swap. It's not often we get this kind of opportunity in which artists of very different styles perform on the same stage. As 2ch called it, this particular live felt like a cultural exchange (文化交流) for both parties. :ohoho:

it looked like Kalafina performed only "Magia" and "Hikari no Senritsu" for the live. The total time for their stage appearance was a little under 30 minutes inclusive of MC. As for the mentioned "symphonia TV ver", it seemed like they merely played the track from a CD for the broadcast and Kalafina did not actually perform the song from the sound of it. I'll try to check around the web to see whether there's another report on it. If anyone else has found one, do share! :)
 
^ I'm not sure either, whether symphonia was sung or not, I just read it on my twitter timeline... :confu:
