2ch pointed me to this vid

There's roughly 8 seconds of "To the beginning" in there (starts around the 1:20 mark).
It's probably too short to judge if it will be good or not, and the music isn't that audible, but I thought I'd just share anyway.

There's also some footage from what I assume is the upcoming "After Eden BD/DVD", and Kalafina singing a bit of "Storia" and the show's theme song "New World Music" acapella style at the front/end.
 
Thanks for the vid! From the little what I can hear, I think it'll be another one of their epic songs. Love it even though it's just a few seconds, lol.
 
Nothing to comment on 8 seconds lol My guess that Wakana would sing the chorus is right, though.
I hate these Japanese TV shows, can't they shut up?

...they're singing Ikimono Gakari? Straaaaaaaaange.
 
Yes, too short and live, don't like. I hope ufotable give us the first promo featuring the song so soon.
 
Wow, lots of scene in one video. As for to the beginning, they are using red clothes again, but this time it's more like...Cleopatra? :ohoho:
 
Even it's short and sounds so generic...but I think it sounds good and fresh for Kalafina...hmm...waiting for the longer one... :sohappy: .

I could barely hear them. lol But I think I will wait and see to determine anything... The other lives sounded good though, except maybe Ongaku.
 
I'm pretty sure everything other than to the beginning comes from the After Eden live BD.

I think the part in Katakana is メロディライン what's "melody line"

Or wait, did you mean the Katakana under Hikaru's name? O.o *just saw it*
That really seems to be メインボーカル = main vocal.

but I don't really know what the question is.. or what they are talking about.


Edit: I searched for the kanji, I think the question is:
基本のメロディラインを歌うのは?
kihon no merodei rain wo utau no ha?

"who is singing the standart melody line?" or something like that? O.o don't know..

Yup. Hikaru gets "main vocal", Keiko gets "low chorus" and Wakana gets "high chorus".

I'm going to take that with a grain of salt, though, since it's from a news show...
 
In that context, they were talking about the Mezamashi TV theme song, not how Kalafina perform their songs in general i.e. Hikaru is singing the base line of the melody for "New World Music" while Keiko and Wakana will harmonize with low and high chorus respectively.
 
Too short for a preview. .I'll just wait for the official release.

I know that it sounds weird... :spotlight: ... generic for me isn't that bad..(just like there are both good generic songs and bad generic songs for me...:XD:..even both good&bad generic songs IMO tend to be boring..) and the reason why it's fresh for Kalafina is just because it's quite rare for Kalafina to sing this style of song...(well...not fresh for FJ I think..) and I think I'm ok when they go with this style. (I prefer it to SEE-SAW-like I have a dream for sure...)
