I remember aaaages ago when I just got into Kajiura's music I thought Wakana was the older quiet, mature onee-san type from watching her in FJ live vol. 2 on stage, and in the very early Kalafina lives (when she still had short hair) cos back then on stage she seemed to be the quietest, least noticeable girl next to Keiko and Kaori rocking out

Actually there's an interview during live vol.2 or maybe part of their MCs, I don't know which one that have Wakana's random babbling of sharks and megalodons. And the translator said that he can't understand what Wakana's talking about in every part.
Yup, I enjoy Wakana's babbling as well. She's so hilarious, although I love Keiko's talking voice the most.

That was my first impression of Wakana too! I initially thought she was this mature and well mannered lady who acted like the respected oneesan figure among the gang but who knew, it turned out everyone else said she's the kiddy one instead who loves chattering away like an excited little child on topics she loves. I just remembered Yuuka has outright likened Wakana's behavior to a child before when she was discussing about how Wakana would suddenly make a pass at her and start talking about random things to her on stage during their short rehearsal breaks for the YK and FJ lives. I guess everyone got the wrong impression of Wakana's personality based on her appearance. And I would love not only to listen, but to actually talk to her about sharks, outer-space and whatever random things come up, cause I'm kinda that way, too. I guess we could spend a whole afternoon blabbering. But by now, my japanese is way too limited, and I can't understand that kind of conversation

My first impression of Wakana after I watched her earlier PVs is that she seemed arrogant, fierce and serious yet elegant. Then after I watched Kalafina interviews, she's actually very bubbly. And found out Hikaru is the serious one instead. Not too serious but not too bubbly like Keiko and Wakana.
