Can anybody tell me what happened during the part towards the end that had Keiko grabbing Wakana and going "Relax. Relax!" :XD: :XD:
I love it when Kalafina does these shows with May'n and Washikazi...their expressions and movements are so funny and cute even though I can only understand like 1% of what's going on :XD:

By the way, will Kalafina only be covering the one song (Love Love Love) on Utage, or will they cover a few? :stars:

That is the segment where they're supposed to try and come up with matching answers. They were doing quite poorly with them not matching at all when they asked for a red animal. Wakana, in particular said a frog (the poisonous ones, she says), which made the other two go "???" because it was so out there and likely the last thing anyone would think of. Kajiura echoed that sentiment on twitter. So when the question came, asking for something blue that's beautiful, well... it's one of the easiest, isn't it? The sky or the sea. Wakana got caught up on the word "thing", and went with an actual object, rain boots. The other two went with the sky (well, she probably would have gone with the sea either way). So Keiko turned around and told Wakana to not to think so much, go for something simpler and relax.

Likely only one song. Mizuki Nana and TMR both covered one each when they were on.
If we're lucky they'll sing one of their own as the guest but I'm not sure if they're supposed to be the guest.

BTW. There's a gif worthy moment in the 2h video so do go watch it. :plot:Keiko gives Wakana a pat on the head. There's also a lot of delicious trivia on the girls. A. Lot.

^Omg Wakanaaaaaaaaaaa :XD: I haven't watched it yet, but thanks for the partial translation, Hatouchan! Must find a place with good wifi connection tomorrow.

I would forever be grateful for someone who can make a mp3 of Kalafina's love love love.

Thanks to both of you! Love love love ! This is so pretty... Great job by Hikaru and Keiko. Wakana was flat in some places but listenable. Overall is really pretty and enjoyable.

flac?
Was there even a lossless source to create a .flac out of?

lol@ them being so nervous about being on TV. It totally shows.
I was initially under the impression that the portion at the end was a preview for the next show, since it usually is, but I don't think it is this time. If it was, Kalafina will be in the next show. You can spy Wakana still sitting in the utage artist section. It's probably some cut footage this time, and not a preview since they seem to be taking quite a long break. The next show is on the 14th of July.

I used a recorder to record the song off my desktop and speakers. I then used SoThink Video Converter and Audacity to convert it into a flac file. So it's a yes and nor answer :sparkleguy:

Thanks so much for the links!! :chuu: :shy: :shy:

Ahhh poor girls they were so shy and quiet for the whole time :TdT: I kind of felt like an overprotective parent watching their child go on stage for the first time I think, my heart was totally clenching when they came on :touched: But I'm so proud of them...is this the first time they've appeared on this kind of TV show with other artists?

EDIT: I just realised the dude host Nakai was a member of SMAP...I wonder if he knows/remembers Wakana did the chorus singing for SMAP's Ave Maria? :ayashii:

^ they are/were a reeeeally popular boy band (not sure if they're still going?)

Wiki said:
SMAP is a Japanese boy band formed by Johnny & Associates. While originally consisting of six members, the group currently consists of five: Masahiro Nakai, Takuya Kimura, Goro Inagaki, Tsuyoshi Kusanagi, and Shingo Katori. The group's name is an acronym standing for Sports Music Assemble People.[1][2]

SMAP released their first CD in 1991 and has since released over fifty singles and twenty albums. Approximately more than half of the singles and a half of the albums have reached the top of the Japanese Oricon music charts. In recent years, the interval between the band's single CD releases has become longer, and they are now released approximately once a year.

The members of SMAP have also pursued careers outside of music, including involvement in television variety shows, dramas, commercials, and movies, making them one of the most popular Johnny's groups. Largely due to their popularity, Johnny & Associates became the most successful agency in Japan, with earnings of almost three billion Japanese yen in 1995.[1]

Wakana sang backup chorus for this song, Ave Maria/Hitotsu Dake no Ai (I think):

This is live, so it's backing track (she obviously didn't perform live with them) and she's the female voice singing above them on the chorus. You can hear her most clearly at around 2:51 onwards during the quiet part
