Hi everyone!

My name is Ventus, and I've been a huuuge fan of Yuki Kajiura ever since I first heard See-Saw back in the early 2000's. Then Kalafina came to Anime Boston in 2009, and I made to connection for the first time that holy crap, Yuki Kajiura composed their music too! It was brilliant. Her music is just so easy to connect with, and beautiful to listen to. I think what gets me the most is the blend of emotional connection, beauty, and refine that her music and her singers are able to convey.

After a few years of being her fan, aspiring to sing some of her music became my passion, and I started covering Kalafina songs. It's a bit embarassing, but here is a cover that a good friend of mine (Soranam) and I did.

"Gloria" is probably my absolute favorite Kalafina song. When I first heard it, it almost made me cry - it was so powerful.

Anyway, nice to meet you all, and I hope to be able to discuss/enjoy more Yuki Kajiura with you all in the future!

Welcome Ventus, a very beautiful cover there... don't be embarrassed about it all. I also listened to your cover of Neverending... also very good.

I only discovered Yuki Kajiura's music in 2011, then was able to see Kalafina and Chiaki Ishikawa at Animelo Summer Live 2011 before realising that Chiaki Ishikawa and Yuki Kajiura were in See Saw together.

Anyway, Chiaki Ishikawa so impressed me that I've seen her live 4 times so far and do recommend her solo work as well as See-Saw. I do also highly recommend that you try to get to a full Yuki Kajiura concert if you ever get the chance.

@Kugayama: I would loooove to go to a full Yuki Kajiura concert someday. And yes, Chiaki Ishikawa's voice is so amazing...it's beautiful in the mid-upper ranges and yet so rich and full in the low notes too.

I started listening to Yuki's music through Pandora Hearts by 2009, but I liked most of her songs from SEED and SEED Destiny without being aware that those were made by Yuki. I then followed FJ and then Kalafina, and they really stand out since they make a very nice mix of classical and modern music.

I also listened to your cover, and I liked it. I'm really looking forward for more!

i and my friend once tried to cover Yume no Tsubasa and Parallel Hearts but being cancelled for several things, and now i leave all my wants for covering some songs

and Gloria is a powerful song, indeed though it has less instrument than usual songs~
