Hello from the Great Big White World of Canada! I've been coming here for almost 6 months actually and reading up on a lot of things but never got around to registering until the other day. My name is John and I'm in love with Yuki Kajiura's music -:0) My friend lent me her Tsubasa Chronicles anime and that is how folks I learned of her music. The songs that really caught my attention the most were "I Talk To The Rain' and "Slipstream". After hearing them, I just needed to hear more and more. I think my favorite song is "Liminality", almost not a day goes by where I don't listen to it. My favorite vocalists are Eri Itoh, Hanae Tomaru and Fictionjunction Wakana. I'm really looking forward to all the newer music she'll come out with in the future, it can only get better in my opinion. I used to play piano as a kid and after hearing her music, it really inspires me to try and learn it once more. Hey, even a violin. Why not? -;0) Anyhoo, I just thought I'd share some things with all of you here. I'll be around -:0)

welcome to CPM! :D :D

yoroshiku onegaishimasu! :D :dote:
I play piano too~ :tea:

nice to know ya! :XD:

Welcome ThinkingAboutForever, please continue to take part in the forum and even on chat.canta-per-me.net about your interests in Yuki Kajiura's music and music that you like.

Thanks!

Thanks for the warm welcomes, I'm looking forward to being part of this awesome community and participating in it as well -:O)

@valeriana runa, piano and violin are both 2 of the most beautiful instruments in my opinion. Though I may have stopped playing the piano a long time ago, happy to hear you're into it. Keep it up! -:O)

@Alphard Sokaina, an interesting question. I'm 28 years young :ayashii:

@Everyone Else, thanks again. -;O)

Welcome to Cpm!!! Ahhh, you play piano~~ I also love piano...and I used to play but I don't now, since finishing my grades, which is a shame because back then I really though it was a bother because of the exams and stuff but now I really really enjoy it and wish I was still doing lessons...

Anyways, see ya round! (And you are a Wakana fan too :stars:)

Welcome John! I am Lina. I played piano awhile ago now... but now I am learning violin. I also love I Talk to the Rain, it is one of my favorite Yuki songs. nice sig! I hope you like it here. (Oh, you are only 2 years older than me. heh)

Nowadays so many things get in the way of our passions. Though its not all bad since the other stuff are quite as important like school work ;) Well, hopefully you'll find plenty of time in the future for your interest in piano once more. And yes, big Wakana fan. Love "Preparation". Be seeing you around too -:O)

No doubt you play a lot of Yuki's songs on your piano and violin, eh. Its pretty obvious of course, when you listen to her music and know how to play those instruments :) Its good to hear. Do you come up with your own music too? My uncle owns a music store and sells some violins as well as pianos. I'm seriously thinking of buying the piano but we'll see. Anyhoo, also happy to hear there's a lot of people around my age here too ;). I'm liking it so far. See you around.

Alphie the Snow Queen :cry:

@John: I've only played a few songs by Yuki on the violin so far. BT, sapphire (which is in the creative corner thread) and Kaze no Machi e, which I just played last weekend. As for piano, I have not tried any yet. I would like to hear your works though if you have any.
