I fell in love with CMP at first sight

Welcome! I am Lina, but you may also call me Liana since there is another Lina here now. lol But I also love Tsubasa and I don't think I would ever get tired of Yuki's music. heh I am also kind of like your friend in that I am learning violin and have learned piano (although if I played now I probably wouldn't remember much.) I hope you like your stay here! :dote:

@Alphard Yeah, it means something among these lines, but "bună" is more close to hello than "hei".
Your name has something to do with Alphard from Canaan? :ayashii:
@Liana I don't think that there's something Yuki-sensei has done that I don't like. I'm already getting accustomed with the forum, as for now, I really like it. :sohappy:
Now I'm really sorry I didn't go to those lessons... it'd be nice to know to play the piano.

Cesire :chuu: :nosebleed: I love your stories about Keiko's harem :)). It seems like Wakana has won, but you never know what may happen, right? :psst:

:chuu: Oh, why thank you...for tolerating my troublesome imagination :XD:

And yes, The Hikaru and Boss Keiko have an interesting power dynamic over Wakana, as seen recently :plot: She might swing either way at any time :ohoho:
(WakanaxKeiko remains my OTP, though... :dote: :shy: vocal-wise and otherwise :psst: :plot: )

Hope we can fangirl together~! :idol: :V:

Welcome! Romania's appearing on our CPM world map now! :sohappy:

after some time I decided to watch Tsubasa Chronicle, and then I fell in love with A song of fire and storm, I think I listened to it about 1-200 times or so

Just like the case with me. :TdT:

I do listen to Ali project, Angela, AKB48, Mizuki Nana, Park Romi, May'n, Kanon Wakeshima, Akiko Shikata, Suara (her duet wiht Nana-chan on animelo is amazing), IG, Kotoko, Faylan, Annabel,

I like the boldprinted ones, too. Listening to Kanon, Nana and May'n as well on occasions, although it's mostly a handful of songs for each :sohappy:

Well, I'm from Romania (probably you don't know what country is it)

Well, I do. Romania's not too far from my country. :XD: I even have a book of humor stories by Romanian writers (translated and printed back in Soviet times), and I enjoyed reading many of those. Also, I suspect many associate Romania with a certain uber-popular summer pop song (despite it being sung by a Moldovan band). :ohoho: :XD: It even topped Japanese charts, after all!
As for me, I once got loaded with a task of translating from Romanian into Russian... :ohoho: I don't speak it, but the person who asked me to do that assured me that most of the text had been translated and needed some proofreading after PROMT... Arrrrgh! I wish he had given me an original text instead, at least. :XD: The text was a mess, and it took me a lot of browsing, looking up and poking through grammar similarities on the language family level (I learnt Spanish and a bit of Latin at the university, although I'm not good in either) to make something remotely readable out of it. :imdead:
Gabriela is a nice name. Yoko Kanno would confirm it. :psst:

So you're Russian? You're right, it's not so far. I can't speak Russian, but I think everyone in my country that has more than 30 years knows :)).

I don't like that song :ohoho: The lyrics are annoying and make no sense :XD:
I can't belive how popular it was, and still is.

I think Angela made me like j-pop; Shangri-La, Alternative and Aoi Haru are really good songs. I discovered Ali project and Akiko through Code Geass and Umineko. As for now I didn't heard many songs from Kotoko, but I like her way of singing. :shy:

Now I have to search who is Yoko Kanno. :glasses:

Yes, you're right :ayashii:

It's a surprise to know that Romanians older than 30 can speak Russian. I thought it was true only for Moldova.

Nick, what song are you talking about?

So you're Russian? You're right, it's not so far. I can't speak Russian, but I think every one in my country that has more than 30 years knows :)).

No, I'm Belarusian, although Russian language is widely spoken here (sometimes disturbingly more often than Belarusian, actually :desksweat: ). As to that song, I can't understand the lyrics anyway (but it's suspectable that "numanuma-yay" doesn't make much sense :ohoho: ), but I listen to it from time to time because I like the refrain's cheerfulness. :XD:

I think Angela made me like j-pop; Shangri-La, Alternative and Aoi Haru are really good songs.

Alternative is my fave among their songs. :nosebleed: How can the vocalist even sing that fast? I also like Shangri-la, Spiral, Soukyuu and Aoi Haru a lot. :dote: I discovered AliPro through Noir (and for some time thought that it was a Yuki song :XD: ), and like you, I first heard Akiko in Umineko anime OP (although while I loved it, I didn't research Akiko's other works until hearing Byakumu no Mayu which became my fave :nosebleed: ).
As to Kotoko, I don't listen to everything, but there are many songs I like. I recommend Agony and her duet with Kaori Utatsuki, Double Harmonize Shock. And of course, Light My Fire which has Supercell involved and is very good.
Also, I heard that even the ex-Megadeth guitarist wrote a song for Kotoko, although I haven't heard it yet. :ohoho:

Nick, what song are you talking about?

this one, of course. Around 2004, it was a challenge to hide from this song, since every kettle was playing it. :ohoho:

Nu mă, nu mă iei means "you won't, you won't take me with you" :uh..:
This one is funnier :XD:
Alternative is my fave among their songs. :nosebleed: How can the vocalist even sing that fast?
I tried once to sing alternative... the first line was all I could do :blood: :imdead:

Well, until 30 years ago or so, everyone knew Russian and French, now most of the people speak English,Spanish, some French and Italain... if you know only Romanian the chances of finding a job are clese to 0. :rain:
I should know some Latin too, but I didn't pay much attention to those classes...

Alphard is cool and very beautiful :whip:  I hate the fact that she loses an arm at the end

Agree :uh..:

Nick, yeah, I remember this song too :ohoho:

Nu mă, nu mă iei means "you won't, you won't take me with you"

oops, sorry. That's how far one goes not knowing the language. :fwa:

This one is funnier

LOL :XD: I actually like it :XD:

Well, until 30 years ago or so, everyone knew Russian and French, now most of the people speak English,Spanish, some French and Italain...

Makes sense, since English is widespread online AND is relatively easy to learn due to its heavily analytic grammar; Spanish, French and Italian are Romance languages, so they stand more or less close to Romanian. Russian is less so, and it's considered one of the hardest languages to learn. My specialization is teaching Russian to foreigners, and during the subject studies, reviewing the language from this point, I couldn't help thinking, "ZOMG, how do I even manage to speak it fluently myself?" :omg: :ohoho: Especially considering my lack of enthusiasm about languages with such an abundance of word changing.

I should know some Latin too, but I didn't pay much attention to those classes...

We had it for half the first year, so I've had time to forgot most of it, except a handful of proverbs. :desksweat: :XD:

hi varete:plot:

I really hope you haven't read my scandals at the graveyard of old thread do you? :knife:'

anyways, Welcome to the CPMe Family!!!

please do drop by our chat!!!

Welcome varete!! Thank you for your kind comments about the site! I suggest you to start reading the info on the mainsite too, in case you didnt already :)

By "voiceless" you mean you cant talk or that you are bad at singing :confu:

Yea, the order of movies in Kara no Kyoukai is pretty strange, personally I though of them as stand-alone movies, at first :XD:

Your username reminds me of a greek word, "βαράτε" (varate) which means "hit!" (plural) :ayashii:

Re:

I can talk, but I wasn't born to sing. :ohoho: I don't know if my singing is really that bad, but to me it doesn't sound too good.

Actually, I have no ideea what Varete means :glasses:
It's a name from a manhwa named Witch Hunter, and i really liked how it sounds (well, I don't know how it should actually be pronounced, but in Romainian it sounds cool). :sparkleguy:
To me it sounds very wierd when I hear people saying Kalafina in english :XD:

Don't worry, the whole week I've been reading the forum and the site instead of studying for exams. :groucho:

^ Oh that will be bad for your exam result! :( (and its also a rare thing for girls [the usually make good marks easily :uh..: ])

Quite the display of dedication to the beings of our affection, indeed~ :ayashii:

However, forget not too that our beloveds would always very much like for their fans to do well in all they do..... :hero:
Which of course entails preparing well too if there's a need... :psst: :glasses: :kungfu:

Oh that will be bad for your exam result!
I'll manage somehow, like I always do :sparkleguy:

I'm one of the top students, and if I get good marks I'll request the moonfesta CD as a reward :TdT: so I'll do my best. :ohoho:
