Just out of my curiosity, how did you discover Yuki's music?

I'll share mine first: I ran into Kaori (as KAORI) in Sound Horizon first, and I instantly attracted by her powerful, bright voice. Even more surprise to me is she can also sing those softer, sad-feeling songs very well. (Not to mention her excellent technique and pitch) Then I search thru youtube for more, and ran into (I think) dream scape in Kajiura Live vol.2. (I ended up watched the whole vol.2 on youtube LOL)

What's your story?

Interesting topic!

My story? Hmm. I discovered Kajiura Yuki's music around 7 or 8 years ago. I was watching Noir at the time and I fell in love with its soundtrack. That started my adoration of Kajiura's music and her vocalists and band projects. All of her soundtracks for BEE TRAIN animes were fabulous. *A*

I said that on my presentation :p but I discovered her in 1999 when a friend of me gave me the Shin KOR Soshite Ano Natsu no Hajimari OST. He knew that I loved piano songs and... even if it was not the felt in love, that's there I became a Yuki's addict.

i discovered yuki music from " pandora heart " anime.. :XD: so among u all im the newest fans :XD:

Tsubasa chronicles, I heard FictionJunction Kaori's tsubasa first :sohappy: and got addicted to it for a long time..! :nosebleed: then after a 1/2 year of hiatus, my love for Yuki songs came back because of pandora hearts, parallel hearts... xD

I thought I am the newest LOL. By the time I watched Kaori on youtube, its already an old video. In fact I discovered Yuki's music only 2-3 months ago. (Yet, I feel I discovered a new continent XD)

My story is complicated. I first heard See-Saw on .hack//SIGN when I watched it on Cartoon Network. I immediately liked Obsession, and kinda liked Yasashii Yoake, and then I discovered Fake Wings (which I thought was See-Saw at the time).

Some time later, I looked up the lyrics for Obsession (I think), and was turned off, because they were just singing mangled English.

Then I started watching Gundam Seed and fell in love with Anna Ni Issho Datta No Ni. I discovered that See-Saw sings it, and was like " :omg: They're the ones that sing that .hack song!!! :omg: " So I fell in love with See-Saw.

And then I discovered Noir and Yuki Kajiura's solo songs, and Indio. That cemented my love for them, Chiaki in particular.

I just happened to come across Oblivious a year and a half ago, on youtube. At first I didn't know it was by a band because the title and all the related videos were in Japanese.
:uh..:

I didn't know of Kalafina's existence until a month or two after that. Seventh Heaven had just come out around then, so I was hooked for life.

Gundam SEED / destiny's

~anna ni issho datta no ni
~Kimi wa boku ni niteiru
~akatsuki no kuruma
~honoo no tobira

I believe my first hearing was Noir too, and i thought the music was just amazing, so I started to find more works, and .Hack was another anime where I first heard the music. I loved it. I'm still missing some albums though, which makes me sad. :XD:

Well, first time I started to watch anime, there was Inuyasha, .hack//SIGN and Gundam Seed on TV. So it's either .hack//SIGN or Gundam Seed. First songs I downloaded though were Akatsuki no Kuruma and Anna ni issho datta no ni. But downloading this, I took ship of fool (Tsubasa Chronicle) out of nowhere and that must be the first time I read Yuki's name and associated it to awesome music :3

And this was the beginning of a long love story :dote:

i love .hack//sign soundtracks, Lacie and Everytime you kiss me from Pandora Hearts, but at first didn't bother to know the composer

when i heard of Lacrimosa... and learned of Kalafina...
that's when i learned of Yuki Kajiura... :shy:

I was in 5th grade when I was watching .hack//SIGN on Cartoon Network. I didn't really care for the anime itself and instantly fell in love with the BGM. It sounded so pleasantly haunting, it almost felt like I was in a trance! Since then, I've been buying anime soundtracks composed by Yuki!

Let's see...I think the first song I heard was Akatsuki no Kuruma followed by the NOIR OST and then it just took off from there...

Um... I watched Cardcaptor Sakura for the first time in years, and then I heard about Tsubasa, so I thought I'd check it out. I read it and loved it, and so I thought I'd try watching the anime, and I did... and I heard the background music and was all :nosebleed: and downloaded the OSTs and... yeah. It just grew from there.
