Old school tank is old school :psst:
The pic doesn't show it well (mainly due to avatar size limit), but it's a KpfPz Leopard 2A4 belonging to Canada, which me believes is still quite modern (yes, granted, Germany already has the PSO and 2A7+ models, if that's what you're referring to :psst: ).

Oh, sorry sissy, failed to keep an eye on the left panel... really sorry 'bout that... :desksweat:

That said, for both our cases with Hikaru, I can definitely relate them to my case with G-Seed's 暁の車 (Akatsuki no Kuruma), which was the very first of Kajiura-さん's songs I'd learnt to appreciate, though only after some time and only after some of the other songs in the series (some of which I don't even listen to now!). :dote:
Though in turn... I do listen to most other songs now much more than Yuuka-さん's... :ohoho:

About your signature (again; so sorry:XD:), did you add in that creative dialogue yourself?

(CAVEAT: VERY OFF TOPIC TO THOSE NOT IN TUNE WITH MILITARY TECH. Small fonts used to save space and prevent possible eyesore. :psst:)

Yup I was referring to largely the 2A4 design (which is late 1980's technology?) and all "classic" MBTs in general. The future of warfare is definitely urban. As such, the shape of future armoured vehicles will have to change to adapt to the newer, more dynamic theatres of operations. Not that tanks/armoured vehicles in general will be 100% obsolete, but their design in future has to be updated. Hauling 70 tons of expensive metal (and maybe ceramic composites in some cases) is just not the way to go for 5th generation warfare. :XD:

While I'm reserve my respect for the awesome firepower of the 120mm smoothbore, I still think a 30mm autocannon (equipped with the latest in linkless feed technology, APFSDS-T and airburst/HEI/APSE ammunition) is a lot more practical (and faster to respond, with much less collateral damage). So...*maybe* wheeled AFVs with remote weapon stations will be the shape of the future?

If much more firepower is needed than that, boots on the ground equipped with the next generation of focussed lethality (dual purpose) recoiless weaponry are also more nimble and effective against such targets of opportunity. So either that or a coordinated close fire support effort (although in many UO instances these days, it's not really necessary or waaaaaaaaay overkill). Such is the beauty of asymmetric warfare.

Just a Stoppages of Leave and 7 weekends of extra duties.

And to be perfectly honest, I used to think the least of Hikaru among the rest... No idea when the heart started to turn, but the more I looked (and heard) her, the higher her ratings in me mind went...

:XD:

I think it's the same for a lot of recent converts here as well. I think most likely it was after her appearance in Animax Musix Fall last year. Her (modern) rendition of Annani was really fantastic!

Not to mention her imouto-moe disposition too! :psst: :XD:

oh i see, but at first glance i really thought of it as a battle tank, that the soldier in me awaken.yeah!
so ur a gundam fan?

Canada did think that too, and was close to scrapping its tank fleet and adopting this solution, but (they mentioned, and it was quoted a lot elsewhere) after some experiences in the Middle East, they reversed that decision and upgraded their (then Leopard 1) tank fleet instead. And I heard they went on to sell their Strykers to the US instead... :ohoho:

You're quite right about the 30mm autocannon though, and it's been mentioned that a long 120mm may not be totally practical everywhere, as that thing will need more room to maneuver in an urban terrain.

Negative. I don't do autographs. :XD:

While I did get lucky enough to come across that one in Youtube (maybe should try ripping it too? :psst:), and while I did enjoy it a lot (especially as a G-Seed + Kalafina fan), what really did her for me was vids (yes, again, Youtube) of past lives that the trio had done, mostly before last year's Animax Musix Fall. Didn't even know of the existence of AMF till Hikaru-さん's "Anna ni"...
Oh, and did I mention that I've yet to own any of Kalafina's work...? :psst:

You can say that, though I'm not so into those now. Couldn't even be bothered to go watch/read about/fiddle with anything after watching G-Seed D. Perhaps had grown outta' it...? :XD:
I can still appreciate a beautifully done Gundam game or Gunpla, though... :plot:

LOL, A bit same with that too... I did listen much to FictionJunction songs, and live perfs, since I never knew much about Kalafina when I joined this forum, nor did I care... Whenever I tried to listen to Kalafina, I usually end up clicking "previous button"... LOL, I regret that... one example of these was Lacrimosa... I always skip it... The first song and PV I had fun listening to and watching is actually Hikari no Senritsu... So I gave them another chance and I came across sprinter... in a split second, I'm a fan... :XD: Now, I barely listen to FJ songs and their live perfs, while Kalafina make up most of my whole playlist.. :dote: So our case in Hikaru, is something I can relate too in my case with Kalafina more than a year ago.. :psst:

Oh and as for my siggie... Yes, I did thought of the dialogue myself... got the idea since the time I made that, there had been lots of Magia interview and whenever they ask "What do you want to do when you have free time?", "what is your hobby?" or somethings related to that, she would always answer "sleep"... LOL, to the point when it had already become a common fact... It's so cute... :nosebleed:

@Moonlight04: Never too late to enjoy good music~~ :XD:
For myself, I pretty much started with Fairytale (Red Moon Live)(not sure what led me there though... whim of the moment I guess? Pretty good whim I'd say... :innocent: ). Listened a few times to it BUT didn't think much of it, till found meself humming the tune after a while later, going back to listen again, and it all went on and on from there... :dote:
Though truth be told, I've yet to buy any of their works... :psst:

And yes indeed, sleep, sharks, food/cooking, sports, talking-ratio, Hikaru-さん's shy/moe-ness, etc... these have slowly taken their place as "must know-trivia" of Kalafina... :ohoho:

INDEED! :XD: They're the "facts" that you'd hear in almost every interview... :XD:

Thanks (or no thanks) to each of their interviews to date containing almost the same questions/questions which keep touching on the same stuff... :ohoho:

Almost makes me wish their interviewers (including future ones) would do some research on past interviews beforehand... or at least twist the same old questions somewhat... :desksweat:

ohhh sorry about that, i know Destiny is kind a disappointing.but Seed is my favorite series.the character and mecha design,OSTs,Op and Ed are just great.(i'm just gonna put aside overdoing Kira and the moe moe factor in the series)

My standards ain't high, and I ain't too picky, so I'd say that Destiny was still kinda enjoyable (for me). Didn't quite care about that invincible Kira, or those overused Zeon/Z.A.F.T. MS designs...
It's actually due more to laziness, as well as me starting to play Maplestory seriously (then; quite grown out of it 3 years after) that I no longer quite bothered to chase anything Gundam/anime-related after Destiny... :ohoho:
Though I heard my friend say 00 wasn't bad I'm... just... too... lazy... now... :imdead:

^those ZAFT mobile suits are once again used due to the fact that seed was a remake of Zeta Gundam.
well i dislike Kira but never cared much about him.Seed has been still my favorite.
laziness = i know what you mean there :uh..:
recycled animations
but seed is kind a great
gundam 00 isn't bad either, well the fights scenes isn't heavy for me, and the movie :rain: :stupidtable: :leaf: :spotlight:

Re:

Agreed. My friend said that, compared to Destiny, Seed at least has clear-cut main characters... don't quite feel that myself though but still... :ohoho:

Well, 0079, 0083, Zeta, Seed, etc... don't they all start off with the lucky main char making off with a 'brand new superior MS', only to be allowed to carry on after the traditional 'successful (and supposedly unbelievable) first sortie' anyway? :psst:
But from Zeta to Seed, the 'bad guys' at least have distinctive new machines...

Oh and by the way, happened to come across a certain "murrue02" in Youtube before. Think I had commented on his/her "Ongaku Live" vid, and had gotten a reply too... would that happen to be you? :fwa:
If not, never mind~~ :sohappy:

^ i'm watching gundam series not in the proper order but i think it doesn't matter i think.well it's kind a not new to see common elements in every gundam series (like similar ms,scenes, character preferences, masked man villain, super humn pilot as main character, etc.) coz it's a franchise or whatever it's called, hehe i can't find the right word as of now.
