Hi!

About me(a brief): I've been playing the violin since 2009...
but I don't play very well, :desksweat: so I try to practice to get better. it's very difficult. T-T" In my spare time I like to make wallpapers/vectors/drawings and make cupcakes <3
You can see my wallpapers on minitokyo:
http://ao-asamiya.minitokyo.net

I found out Yuki's music listening to Tsubasa Chronicles OST(in 2006), and "A song of storm and Fire" was the first song that I attempted to play in violin... back then, I was terrible, now I'm just little better ahaha...

After that, I started listening to Kalafina (Oblivious, Sprinter), and I've fallen in Love o__o
OMG, their voices are amazing, their clothes are beautiful... I thought, and since then I've decided that Kalafina is the best band in the world!

I especially love Keiko, because her voice is deep, softly and she's the singer of my favorite Kajiura's music: Synchronicity, Houseki, Kaze no machi he.

My feelings when I listen Yuki: I adore Yuki because she uses violin, piano and guitar a lot, these are my favorites instruments. Kajiura-sama mixes fantasy, love, beauty, sadness, darkness, melancholy, pain, despair, hope, classical and pop styles in such a terrific way! *-*

Certain violins solos, appears... to cut my soul and heart, while at the same time it flows a incredible emotion of beauty and sadness.

My English it's not perfect, but at least I can write something understandable.

Nice to meet you all, I hope we can be friends to talk a lot about Yuki Kajiura-sama.

welcome to cpm, juchanx3!

this is such a perfect way to put it :TdT:
I also love synchronicity :shy: it was the first FJ song I listened to (vol.4 live ver) and I immediately fell in love. FictionPunktion! :hero:

Hello and welcome to CPM juchanx3!
The violin is really a nice piece of instrument.
I'm happy that you had persevered in learning it, I stopped with the trumpet since ages ago. XD

やった!Another Keiko fan.
I love her, especially in Houseki and Hoshikuzu. (FJ-wise)

Your english is fine my friend.

welcome here, Juchan-san :hi: :sohappy:

i think almost the same thing. honestly i never thought that much feelings in her music, i just feel that her music is overflowing in me :XD:

Violin sounds nice, nee? :shy: wish i can play violin... but sadly my family isn't talented in music XD
recently i'm into 'let the stars fall down'. have you heard it? if you haven't, i recommend the song :sohappy: it's anime soundtrack though. the song is the same as Manten but that certain violin and certain kajiurago singers caught me more :shy:

don't worry, your english is good (even i think yours are better than mine XD)
somehow sounds like poetic for me :shy:

Hi juchanx3, I hope that your persistence with the violin gets you more rewards with what you will be able to play with it!

Konno-san is an amazing violinist. I can't imagine how much work it took for him to play all that he did in Yuki Kajiura Live vol. #10 so perfectly.

Enjoy your time here and hopefully you can get to see Yuki Kajiura and her singers and musicians live some day.

Arigatou gozaimasu :shy: This is what I feel when I'm listening Yuki-sama <3

Is vol 4 from 2008? I don't remember.

@Insidia Oh, what a pity... please return to learn an instrument someday!I am not fluent yet, my problem is that I read a immense quantity of text, but I never write or talk...

@littlefelicita ^^ I like to think about the meaning of the instruments, voice in the music. Hai, I like violin because it's very emotional and melodic, and sometimes I sense the violin is crying.
You can try violin or other instrument...
I don't feel like I have a talent, I just train and train, repeatly...

I don't know this music. Which anime is it from?

Hello juchanx3! :D

You are a violinist? *-* It is a very emotional instrument, and I also love how Kajiura-san uses the classic instruments on her music!
I play the piano (I know Lacie Melody 2 version), but I wish someday I could learn violin too... Sadly, I have no time for that :rain:

Maybe we could do a violin and piano duet cover someday? :sohappy:

You said you live near me... How near is that? São Paulo? Right now I am at USP waiting for my neuroimmunoendocrinology (lol! so long!) class to start :D

Nice to meet you! I hope we can be friends! ^^

I saw the set list from Live 10. OMG, there was Pandora Hearts, Noir and Tsubasa OST on it T__T If a dvd/blueray comes out, I want it so badly DD:

I hope so too. Maybe they can visit us in Brazil... the nearest that Kalafina came is in Chicago, but it's also a little expensive to travel and I can't travel the time I want because I work.

@Lyra Laurant Of course! I would like to play the piano too. But, I don't have time as well.
Now I'm in Sao José dos Campos(an hour from SP) where I work. I frequently go to São Paulo (Liberdade). What a complex name A_A, do you study medicine?

from anime Fate/Zero. i haven't watch the anime yet...
the opening song of Fate/Zero, Manten, is sung by Kalafina. let the stars fall down uses Manten's melody.

yes, i heard violin crying!
sometimes i think violin is really talking (like Wakana's or Yuriko's or Eri Itou's voice in very high pitch), and mood-maker of the song. recently i love kind of Kajiura's battle music, i love that violin can make the mood goes wild in the battle though the violin has a sound like going-to-cry XD

ah, do you know Sound Horizon? i'm still new in understanding that band though, but in Hiiro no Fusha (live version) (and other songs too), the violin makes scary sound. i thought "whoa, violin can create horror aura too!" .
but still i prefer to violin's battle music :shy: sometime it is crying during the battle!

i never concerned about violin (and other instrument) this hard before i listened to Kajiura. i love the sound of chime too.
i never get tired of listening to Kajiura music because everytime i listen to it, i feel like trying to understand each voices and instruments' sounds.

(and i wrote this much. gomen, i think i'm just too happy XD)

Welcome! I also have learned the violin for about 10 years now, but am not very good. I have some covers up on the creative corner area, but they might hurt a little. heh I am Liana by the way, and you can ask me anything. Hope you like it here! I agree with you about Yuki's works so much, except I did not like Keiko's synchronicity actually, I like the original better. But I love Houseki with Keiko. :shy: It is one of my favorites. Anyways, enjoy your stay!

Hello juchan! (hope you dont mind if I call you that)
A violin player, that is really nice! I always had a wish to learn a violin, at least a little bit. Im learning piano and play guitar a bit.
You describe your feelings very nice about Kajiura-sama's music. I also like to actively listen to the music and she really puts her feelings into it and lets them flow through the listener's body.
I love Keiko as well! Her voice is so strong and magnificent and unique that it just knocks me down! I like Houseki as well!

Welcome to the CPM! Have a great time and enjoy your stay! :sohappy:

Actually, Manten is the ending for Kiritsugu's backstory episodes. :) The 2nd opening is to the beginning, and it is also epically sung by Kalafina \o/

I study Biology, but I really like human physiology. ^^

Hello juchanx3, welcome to CPM :dote:
And yes, I've never paid attention to the instruments/background music this much before knowing YK's works (I mean, before listening to OSTs composed by her without knowing her name). I really like the use of "lurking contributors" (I know it's a really weird way to put it :XD:) It's like the instruments are omnipresent - I can't hear them very clearly but I know they are there, lurking in the song, making it sound more powerful, tragic, etc. Then at the right time, they just... jump out and pull solos that can make u breathless, and retreat into the darkness again. Same for the backing vocals. That's really awesome :dote: Of course YK isn't the only that can do this, but I somehow feel that she does this better than many others :) Oops I wanna say more but the post's getting long and I'm suppose to be studying O.O
Anyway, I hope u have a great time with the CPM family :sohappy:

You don't need to apologize, if you are happy writing about Yuki-sama, you can write the amount of
caracteres you want! :dote:

I'm gonna look for this music, thanks for the recommendation!
Hai! I feel this too! Yesterday, I was listening "lullaby" from Noir OST, and in the violin solo
... I wondered if "he" was talking, ou crying something sad.

No, I don't know this band, but since I started to frequent the forum, I saw a lot of people talking
about this.

@Liana_Ilia
Arigatou! It's nice to find another violinist here :3 Violin covers? I'm gonna listen them :shy:
I like both versions, but I prefer the original introduction with the backvocals singing in English.

@MegyTomitatsu
Oh, very nice! Keep improving your skills in music. I really
think that everyone should learn an instrument.
I would like to play the piano, guitar and maybe singing .. I think the worst thing
in life it's not have time to learn such incredible habilities ._.

@Lyra Laurant
Oh, I'm sorry for my wrong guess. I think Biology incredible and I like to read articles
in magazines, especially the most curious ones. You were approved in USP, you must be very clever, congrats :D

@wormbook22

It's difficult to hear where an instrument ends and other begins, but with sure.. the more instruments
are present, more I like... each instrument passes a different sensation <3

Good luck in your studies, ganbatte! I also have to study, but o_o you know... *lazy*

Hi juchanx3,

Welcome to CPM! Hope you have fun in spending your time here.
Good for you to know how to play violin... I do know how to play a piano and read notes, but I barely touched a piano for many years now so I'm not that confident. And all my official Yuki music sheets are getting a little dusty...

The way things are now, I'm afraid that someday isn't coming.
But I'll try the piano/guitar if given the chance (or time for that matter).

I see, but reading helps too, so again, you're fine!

YK+FJ+Kalafina+SH are all awesome.

@chrisgarci Oh, maybe you could save some time to take off this dust! :3

@Insidia Having time today to play an instrument it's difficult ... Maybe someday I'll be forced to stop my violin class, but for while I'm doing my best with my limited time.

Yes, I've searched SH songs and I appreciated it, I liked "Moulin Rouge", "Dream Port" and "Moira" songs : ) *the others music names are japanese and I don't remember * :XD:
