HELLO EVERYBODY!!!

So just like everyone else that joins this site, I have been using it for a couple of months now and finally found the time to join it. I adore Yuki and i absolutely love the concept behind Kalafina

When it comes to Kalafina, I must say, im very unlucky.

Heres why;

They came to Singapore in 2011, Malaysia in 2012 and Indonesia 2013. I only so to say discovered Kalafina late of last year *cringes*. So I missed my chances of going to the concerts they held near me.

Another reason is they had a concert in Paris this year. Ill be going to UK next year, if I was there this year instead I could have gone for their concert.

Alas now all I can hope for is for them to preform in UK next year which I think they would *prays prays* but with the rate they are going im sure they will do a concert in the UK.
Its only a matter of time before we meet, Kalafina-san! *evil laughs* and when that happens I hope I get to meet some of you in real life

BTW, can someone enlighten me on how to I change my display picture? I stumbled upon a reply that stated that I should hover my mouse near my username on the top right corner of the site and I should see the word "Avatar" but I dont see anything of that sort O; Forgive my noob-ness!

Well I guess thats all I have to say for now! Yoroshiku onegai shimasu!

I'm sure one day you'll be able to see them in concert! I never thought I would, but then they came to Chicago. Best weekend ever.

Hello hello! Welcome to CPM!

I totally understand your feeling! I just discovered FictionJunction a few months ago, then over the past month I bought Kalafina CDs to give them a try (because I thought, why not, since I love FJ, I'm sure I'll come to like Kala too - same composer, same vocalists (minus Kaori), same FBM) and indeed, I fell in love with them! So the thing is, I attended AFA MY 2012 back then and I even took this picture:

But because I only identified them as "a girl band that one of my friend likes" back then, I didn't attend that LIVE. Now I'm so upset with myself

Haha but anyways, I hope you'll get to attend their LIVEs one day! I'm also aiming to go for FJ/Kala LIVEs next year (if I can)

P/S: About adding an Avatar, I also had the same problem when I first joined a few months ago. Just give it a bit of time, you'll be able to see it soon. In my case it took roughly 3 weeks if I recall correctly.

Welcome Smoshes! I hope that you can get to Japan sometime. Although one is less likely to actually meet the members of Kalafina that way, the concerts are very well run (and a Yuki Kajiura live concert is really special).

Welcome! I hope Kala do play a UK show sometime too, but there are few of us on this forum who live here and would be happy to help you get there if it happens!

Welcome! I know that feel of having a band perform live locally but not knowing about it until it's already happened, didn't happen with Kalafina but has happened with other artists before. I didn't know Perfume were performing in London until after it happened last year for example and I'm sure I remember Kokia coming over before too but before I got into her .

As Martin mentioned above, there are people on here who are UK-based and would be happy to help. I'm not actually in London but I'm not far away and that's probably the most likely place they'll put on a concert if it ever happens (please do, Kalafina ) so I suspect there'll be a meet should it occur. We managed (eventually) to find everyone at Japan Expo so it can happen.

Hope you do get a chance to see them live, though, they're absolutely incredible in person . I never expected to get a chance and it seems quite a few other users here were in the same mindset until it actually became a possibility. I'm sure you'll get your chance . The problem is they may do a live but actually bringing the entire band isn't that likely and that's what I'd give anything to see.

Thanks dude! I think if you want to see the entire band you would most likely have to go to Japan :/ its ok maybe you would start saving up now and go for their budokan concert or etc

Oh, seems that I forgot to welcome you. Eeeer... I hope that you'll success at least once in meeting our goddesses I did it twice, in Germany and in France, and that was marvelous moments. We are quite a number to hope that they'll be back in Europe, and especially in UK (even if I'm French, I wouldn't matter crossing the Channel!), but I think there are more chances that they actually performed at your home! Keep hope!

Welcome! I like your pics. I am a huge Kalafina fan, and Yuki fan, so anything that involves her I am in. You may call me Liana and if you have any questions let me know, been around here since 2009. heh I got to know Yuki through Noir, and then Kalafina through Kara no Kyoukai (Garden of Sinners), and FictionJunction through Yuki as well, I think the first song I heard by them was everlasting songs in Elemental Gelade, though that was Asuka. Not sure though. Nice to meet you and hope you like it here.
