I'm from Poland. I'm a big fan of Kalafina. I like FJ, Kajiura too. My first contact with Kalafina was in 2012 with song 'Fantasia' on yt. Then I meet Magia and I fell in love with Kalafina.

Welcome nodame89! I've been impressed by the Polish orchestras and singers used for anime soundtracks by Joe Hisaishi, Yoko Kanno and Kenji Kawai.

I hope that you can get to hear Yuki Kajiura and her singers and musicians live some day.
 
You suprised me :) I don't know that so many composers used the help of Polish orchestras. I knew that orchestra from Warsaw did tracks in Magi OST.

I hope so... Maybe in the next year Kalafina/FJ/Kajiura would be in Europe? It would be great.

By the way.... how to change avatar? When I click on image I receive communique: no permission. What's going on?

I heard fantasia in Polish anime-radio :V: Then I met Magia, Lacrimosa, Tetoteto, oblivious, red moon, ongaku. Moreover I'm interested in Kaori Oda, Yuuka, FJ too. But I think Kalafina is more catchy. And OSTs by Kajiura... - I love Mahou Shoujo Madoka, Tsubasa Chronicle, SAO, Fate/Zero OSTs.

^ Polish anime-radio sounds good.

I can recommend Chiaki Ishikawa also (was vocalist in See-Saw with Yuki Kajiura).
 
I know Chiaki's Uninstall, Anna ni issho datta no, yasashii yoake... Chiaki has an interesting voice, a little similar to Minori Chihara. Kajiura makes catchy and curious songs for her.

It's internet radio of course ;) there is a lot of programs about Japan and j-pop, anison music. It was even a program about Kalafina.
 
^ That sounds good. Most internet radio programmes actually from Japan seem to be region-blocked /-:.

I really enjoyed hearing Minori Chihara and Chiaki Ishikawa sing Uninstall as a duet at Animelo Summer Live 2012. (I managed to meet them separately after Animelo Summer Live 2011).

Wow, I didn't know that they had a duo on Animelo 2012. I've just watched and it's really nice. I prefer Chiaki's voice than Minori's. But they have similar timbre. I regret that Kalafina didn't have any cover on Animelo 2014...:touched:
 
^ I didn't make it to Animelo Summer Live 2014, but saw Kalafina's Believe CD launch at Kawasaki and Kalafina at Animax Musix 2014. I hope that video of those events turns up sometime.
 
It would be great, if Kalafina make an album with their old lives. But it's not possible I think

Welcome! I am Liana. I have seen you around too. I love Kala and all the girls really. Yuki is awesome! heh So please ask me anything and I will try and answer the best I can. I've seen Kala twice now and love them live. I wish to go to Japan like Kuga has. (We should all go together! That would be great. Though I need a job right now to save money. :P) Hope you like it here. Hmm, fantasia is an interesting start off for Kala. It's the first I've heard. Mostly it's magia or Lacrimosa. I actually found them through KnK's music and when I first heard oblivious I was stunned. Still love the song. Enjoy your stay! :dote:

Maybe some day I'll go to Japan. I hope Kala return to Europe (maybe Austria or German again? It's close to me). Tickets to Japan are expensive :spotlight: I like this forum. I know news thereby and I can discuss with other :tea:It's hard to find acquaintance which like Kalafina and Kajiura
