I was actually a member before, but my account got deleted during the move to XenForo. I had never posted anyway (and that's probably why my account was deleted, too), so I might as well be totally new. Anyway, I'm AHH and I love music, especially Yuki Kajiura's. I actually play cello and tinker around with singing, piano, viola, and hurdy gurdy.

I first heard Yuki Kajiura's music, I think, from watching parts of .Hack//Sign when I was a lot younger. I didn't know her name from it, or remember any of its songs after. After playing Xenosaga Episodes II/III, I got more interest in her. When Kara no Kyoukai came, I became a full-out fan of both her and Kalafina. From there I've branched out a bit so I'm also a fan of FictionJunction/FJ Yuuka now. Just don't ask me about See-Saw. I don't know anything.

FJ and FJY both covered a See-Saw song in the recent vol.11 releases. But you really should listen to See-Saw's songs, especially indio, Seijaku no Headphone no Naka, Yasashii Yoake, and Kimi wa Boku ni Niteiru

EDIT: oh and Kioku. If you like creepy-sounding songs you must hear Kioku

Welcome AHH, See-Saw actually have songs in .hack//Sign so you'd recognise some of those songs (Obsession, Yasashii Yoake). It's great that you can play some musical instruments.

I did go and listen to Yuuka's version of Yasashii Yoake, and you're right. I've definitely heard this before. It's a great song. I also gave a listen to Kioku and it sounds great too! I am definitely a fan of darker songs. I'm not surprised I like See-Saw since I like Yuki Kajiura and Chiaki Ishikawa separately. I definitely need to listen to more of their songs, though. I'll check out aki's other recommendations next.

It was sort of funny that my first live experiences of either of their music were:

Mou Nani mo Kowakunai, Kowaku wa Nai / Chiaki Ishikawa (Mobile Suit Gundam 00 ED)
Fukanzen Nenshou / Chiaki Ishikawa (Kamisama Dolls OP)

Magia / Kalafina (Puella Magi Madoka Magica ED)
Sprinter / Kalafina (Kara no Kyōkai ~ Mujun Rasen ED)

in the same concert.

I hope that you can get to hear more of both (and live sometime too!)
 
Welcome! I really do enjoy See-Saw, some of their songs are a little, odd? To me at least. As Kuga if you want to know more about Chiaki as well, since he is a strong fan of her. She has an amazing voice as does most of Yuki's singers. I love Kalafina the most. I am Liana by the way and it's nice to meet you!
