What to say about me ?

I venerates lady Yuki Kajiura since my first encounter with her work. It was with the "Madlax" anime serie. Unfortunately, I have never had the chance to see one of her live performance. I am also a big fan of her main singers from the FictionJunction project and the Kalafina one too. Trying to get more information about my favorite japanese composer and her singers, I found your website. It is really great and I learnt a lot of thing thanks to it.

I am not good to introduce myself, sorry. You may ask me some questions to learn more if you want.

Welcome! I enjoyed Madlax as well, the music is great of course. I am Lina and have only been to see Kalafina in Boston, which was still pretty awesome. I would too love to go to a full live, with everybody. Hope you like it here! :dote:

:hi:

And welcome to CPM! :sparkleguy:

Don't worry too much about the introduction, you're doing fine! :XD:

Welcome FxMacCobra, as someone else asked, where are you from?

How are you going learning Japanese and/or planning to travel there?

I have worked in IT but currently don't... met a few legends at Unix conferences in 1993 and 1994.

Discovered YK and her singers through Animelo Summer Live concerts.

If you haven't already done so look up Yuki Kajiura's collaboration with Chiaki Ishikawa, See-Saw and listen to that material... e.g. "Indio" from Noir e.g. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JkpdV5xbit0 so sad and beautiful.

Kalafina were great at Animelo Summer Live 2011, but Chiaki Ishikawa's voice was amazingly beautiful, looking forward to seeing them again soon.

Enjoy your time here and feel free to join the live chat at http://chat.canta-per-me.net

:hi: Welcome! Hope you enjoy your stay here~ Er...is there a nickname we can call you like Mac or Cobra? (lol sorry...I can foresee my tiny brain having trouble with your full name :XD: )

Who's your favourite vocalist? And where are you from? :sohappy:

^ Dont you think he needs to know about the group (its was not a collaboration, Chiaki wasnt even singer yet before joining See-Saw, her solo career started after the group's first hiatus) first before listening to the music? http://canta-per-me.net/yukis-vocalists/see-saw

Welcome FxMacCobra !! Depending on where you live, you may have a chnace to see Kalafina or Yuki and FJ this year. Yuki Kajiura & FictionJunction will be at AnimeExpo 2012 (Los Angels, US) on June 29 – July 2, 2012, and Kalafina at Bonn, Germany at AnimagiC 2012 on July 27-29, 2012. More info here http://canta-per-me.net/upcoming-works/

Please enjoy your stay! :sohappy:

@george1234 Thanks for the clarification and the link, but I liked the music before discovering the group.

@FxMacCobra Kalafina will also be at Anime Festival Asia 2012 (09-10 June in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia): http://www.animefestival.my/kalafina.html

In a first time, thank you everyone for your welcome.

Welcome FxMacCobra, as someone else asked, where are you from?

- I am living in Paris, France

- I am of course going to see Kalafina at AnimagiC festival in Germany. Hope to see some of you too there.

- I am studying Japanese on my own but I seriously think to subscribe to take some courses in a specialized institution because I have a lot of difficulties with kanji characters.
I have already been in Japan (in 2007). I really Japan and Japanese. People were so kind and helpful with me

- On most of the forum I used to be, people call me "Fx" only. I know that my nickname is a quite odd but I am sure to be unique.

- It is hard to say because for me each of the vocalist who works or worked with lady Kajiura has her own style. Maybe because she was the first I have "met", I would answer Yuuka Nanri. But in some way, I think I may not be correct for the others to say that. If you can understand french, you will try to read some articles I did for a friend of mine :
http://www.isayhey.fr/?p=645
http://www.isayhey.fr/?p=851
http://www.isayhey.fr/?p=939
After reading them, you would probably better understand my point of view.

I'm glad that you have been to Japan already... hopefully next time you can catch lots of live concerts of Yuki Kajiura and others.

Thanks for linking to your articles... Google translate did a better job of French to English than it does for Japanese to English.

Welcome to the forum!
Madlax is one of my favourite OSTs as well. Margaret is an especially divine song. :nosebleed:
I don't speak French (except the bits I can deduct from parallels with English and Spanish :XD: ), but I like your articles - a lot of info and links, much like our site. Although if you don't mind I'd like to make a small correction here: it has one of Emily's songs titled "I Have Reached the Sun", but it's called "I Reach for the Sun" in fact. :ayashii:
Hopefully you won't be abashed by this (thinking, "waaaah I've just come here and people are already finding something to lecture me on" :omg: ), just thought it would be of some help. :innocent: :XD:
Enjoy your stay here! :sparkleguy:

I forgot to mention that I had taken no Japanese lessons before I visited Japan last year, but have been taking lessons at a local college where I also sometimes work. Many of the students don't take the course seriously though /-:.

OOOooh a mistake! :uh..:

In first, thank you for your welcome.

Although you do not understand french, you've been kind enough to read my articles so closely you found a mistake. From times to times, I am writting too quickly and after I principaly concentrate myself on grammar correction and sentence composition in French. By consequently, I miss such kind of mistake :rain:
As it is the blog of a friend of mine, more turned on "classical" rock bands I am not quite sure there are a lot of people reading my articles on J-Music :orz: (and surely not as closely you did ).

Do not hesitate to tell me whether you see other mistakes. :V:
