Hello everyone, I just joined your forum although I have been lurking for a while. :)

I'm a long time fan of Kajiura Yuki's work having first heard her music in Noir. When I heard the music in Noir, I liked it so much I simply had to find out who composed it. To date, I have only bothered to do this twice, once when I wanted to find out who composed Macross Plus' music and the second time, after I watched Noir.

In the last few years, I drifted away from anime and turned to Jdoramas for a while, hence, was pretty out of touch with anime music. It was a recent renewed interest in Japanese music that led me to check out what Kajiura has been up to lately and it was then that I discovered Kalafina only, shockingly :) , two months ago.

Your site is pretty awesome as it helped me catch up with all of Kajiura's music since Tsubasa Chronicle and also helped introduce me to her older work, stuff that I didn't know she worked on previously.

While I'm unlikely to be able to contribute much since I am rather busy usually, I thought that it would be nice to at least join your forum, say hello and thank everyone for their hard work. :)

I do have 2 questions but I'm not exactly certain where to post them. If this is the wrong place to post them, please forgive me.

I'm toying with the idea of travelling to Tokyo in December and if that works out, I was thinking of trying to attend the Kalafina concert on the 11th in Shibuya. I was very disappointed that I was unable to attend the one in HK because I was already scheduled to travel to HK for 4 days just 3 weeks before the concert and returning to HK just for the concert was not feasible nor financially wise.

1) What I would like to know is if anyone knows the cost of tickets to a Kalafina concert in Japan? I would have to persuade my travelling companion to attend this concert and she's never heard their music. Knowing the cost of the tickets will help me plan the trip and if I can persuade her at all. Meanwhile, I will try and brainwash her by playing Kalafina music every time she's in earshot. :)

2) How would I go about booking those concert tickets should I decide to attend the concert? I could ask a friend in Japan to buy the tickets first if it's too complicated for me to navigate a Japanese website but I will need to know the url so that I can point her there.

If anyone has the answers to these questions, it would be most helpful. And once again, if this is the wrong place to post them, I apologise.

There are surely some people who can answer your questions since 5-6 of our members have attended Kalafina lives at some point in the past. Also, about the Shibuya concert the Kalafina website said that they would announce more details about it (prices etc) in some point in the future. In the meantime you could check this page http://canta-per-me.net/upcoming-works/ ... g-archives, since I sometimes write proces for each concert, that way you could take an idea of the cost. I hope this helped :)
