Greetings fellow music fans.

I am always usually a lurker, but after visiting this site as a guest for quite some time, I figured that it may be best to register instead.

Kajiura Yuki's music has been my listening choice for almost a decade and I have been fortunate enough to listen to her early works (See Saw for example) from the get-go.
That shared, I found her soundtrack work to be most inspiring and avidly "collected" what I could.
It was utterly disheartening to find that there were no serious fans of her music in my city, so imagine my surprise when chancing upon this forum!

Introductions are not my most favoured thing, so I may have neglected to mention a few points.
Feel free to pose questions as those are much easier to deal with (*゜▽゜ノノ゛☆

Welcome earmuffler! I tend only to get people having heard of Nana Mizuki and Hironobu Kageyama, even amongst people born in Japan, so I'm used to not having anyone directly familiar with Yuki Kajiura's music around (although many Japanese had heard of / seen "Hanako to Anne").

Please ask any questions you like about Yuki Kajiura's music!

Hello and welcome to CPM! :hi:

It was utterly disheartening to find that there were no serious fans of her music in my city, so imagine my surprise when chancing upon this forum!

I totally understand that. There's hardly anyone I know who's also a fan of her music, so it's great to have a place where you can discuss all things Kajiura with people who can appreciate the beauty of her music.

Hope you'll enjoy your stay here! :bye:

Hello, antipodal friend! :hi:
Same issue applies to me, when it comes to my music tastes I always have to remain vague as absolutely no one I know would understand me (although it somedays arrived that one or two people told me "this song is not bad" when they accidentaly listen to it)

Thank you everyone for the warm welcome. I shall enjoy my new 'home' :sohappy:

I tend only to get people having heard of Nana Mizuki and Hironobu Kageyama...
Please ask any questions you like about Yuki Kajiura's music!

To that end, I do believe that you are lucky enough to meet people who know of Mizuki Nana at least.
I only met one person who is a fan of Mizuki Nana, much less Kajiura Yuki.

Thank you, I will pose my questions as they appear.

wow @earmuffler you came from South Africa!! Amazing :) :) Kajiura-san is loved all over the world *happyness*

South Africa has a decent following for comics, manga, anime and video games - though the 'deep' fans are few in number.

Welcome! I am Liana, you can ask me anything Yuki related and I will try to answer, since I have been a long time follower as well. I heard her first in Noir I believe. I have seen and met Kalafina twice (Yuki only once) at Anime Boston and Anime Central, which was near my city and a dream come true since they had the band (but no Konno). They are awesome and so glad Yuki is the composer for them. I would strongly recommend the Hanako to Anne ost, since i think it is one of her greatest in a long while. Hope you like it here!

Greetings from one ex-lurker to you.

I know that feel of not having like-minded people to share your music with.
Hope you get to meet them in your city soon.
Gender:☺ +1

Random: I used to have a similar nickname as your current one on a local forum years ago.

Anyway, welcome to CPM and feel free to post your thoughts.
