I've contacted NHK WORLD again about the commercial availability of the song and the answer I got was: "Please let us add that, unfortunately, they are not commercially available on CD nor in any audio format".

Gaia is pretty good and yes, is Heigen 2, but the Eri Itoh's layers are sublime.
Did you noticed that Living Nature has that Kajiura SFX at the beginning like Historia: Opening/Ending theme (also satoyama main theme) ? XD It's the KajiResource for documentaries :P

What I want to do next is to take the voiceless parts from all the different episodes and reconstruct Living Nature. For example the Kauai episode has the very beginning without narration, while the episode of Everest has it with narration, but I guess that this is going to take some time

A Hong Kong TV channel is now broadcasting great nature on every Sat night. They have put up previous chapters in their homepage :
