Go Shiina & (notsomuch) Yuki Kajiura to compose for Kimetsu no Yaiba

She is quite taking it easy this and last year. 1 song and 10 1-min bgms for KnY, and 7-8 bgms for antihero, are all the compositions for 2024 and its already middle of the year 😅 I hope she doesnt have some serious health issue 😥

Did I miss something???
Do you remember what she released in 2018? Just 1 OST. Then 2019 she released more than 4 anime soundtracks...
She has a some big anime projects on the horizon (ok, just movies)+working on lives+getting selective.
Let's wait for the rest of the year or maybe the next year could be some surprises.

Tokoshie doesn't have one either.

Anyhuu, guess it's a countdown to the final episode and/or movie announcement?

Exactly. OSTs are almost always the first thing completed in a production cycle, so a composer is typically finished with the OST years before a project is released.

DId any of these tracks made it to the standalone soundtrack ? https://vgmdb.net/album/134944
That's the Entertainment District OST, what I posted was the next arc, Swordsmith Village.

But to answer your question:

1-09 花魁道中
Ep02 M8

1-12 過去の吉原遊郭
Ep03 M1

1-14 蕨姫登場
Ep03 M7

1-15 たくらみ
Ep03 M13

1-19 堕姫の気配
Ep04 M8

1-21 堕姫との邂逅
Ep04 M11

Or at least should be based on samples 'cause I never bothered with the OST. Maybe they are not identical...

There's still episodes 7&8 left (vol4 on Oct 2) but I don't know if they had any Kajiura. @thiagofern didn't report anything from what I can see.

Edit:
Oh wait, scratch that. I just double checked and jasrac has episodes 7&8 up already. Yep, *seems like* this is it for Kajiura and the Hashira Training Arc. All entries in post-331404.

*Episode 8 only has M1~7 listed as of now... That seems very little for this show - especially when episode8 was double length... maybe they haven't updated it all yet.
