Wow another digital release .... Still happy there is at least a new song. I wonder if its gonna have any resemblance to "red rose" ?

Last dark song by Kajiura was the one sung by the 2 dudes for Kimetsu so its not so long ago.
That was not just a dark song for darkness sake, but it was a character song for a malevolent personality.

I feel Kajiura has been trained by her experiences to write much of her best music when she's writing for a character or story theme. Most of the time.

FictionJunction featuring Emiko gets a really cool design. Is this common for songs to get designs?

Or is this something new for FJ going forward?

"Black Rose" gives it a dark feel like something for a magical girl-style anime.

Guess its a new thing now with digital releases, where paying a graphic designer is cheaper than organising a whole photoshoot.

I see.

Still, it is a nice, quality design. Something that can be embossed on merch and look good. It can also have a black or white background for variety.
I like the fact that it's conceptual since it doesn't require Kajiura's or Emiko's pictures to be on it, which is appropriate. I guess that's the way to go now. FJ album marketing's been conceptual for a while.
