The question is simple.

Do you learnt english as your omther language by your parents or you learned as a second one in school, videogames or internet.

I think that I have learnt more English on videogames that in School :uh..:

I was rather..neither because my parents taught me English before I went to kindergarten and so, but they taught me Korean as the 1st language.

I learnt English mostly from videogames. then school, anime (subs...oh...that also teach me japanese), TV/movie and books.

2nd, learned through school, tuition, internet, games, homestay and everything except parents, they only taught me indonesian, which is mostly useless. i mean, who could talk indonesian except indonesian anyway... :uh..:

I am with the majority here, English is my second! I learned Chinese first
but my English is much better since I've lived most of my life here :ayashii:
ok, i suck at both!!

So far I'm the only one with English as a first language... Chinese is my second, Japanese is my third, and French is my fourth. But I suck at the last two :desksweat:

Mandarin is my first language! But since I grew up/am living in English-speaking countries, my English is way better.

I wish I was like a lot of the people here, who speak another language and learned English as a second one. That's so cool- I feel so boring! :uh..:

lolol don't worry, you're cool too boba :D

i mean, who could talk indonesian except indonesian anyway... :uh..:

First language Dutch, both the general language and the Twents dialect.
Second language English, mostly from TV, movies and games, not at all from school >.<
Third language German
Fourth language French

and some traces of Japanese and Ukranian.

My first language is Thai..(oh..only one in CPM...??? :ohoho: ) I accept that I hate english so much but I want to study my graduate degree at University of Waterloo... in my 4th year of undergrad I took an English tutor course 40 hours/week for preparing for TOEFL exam... :uh..: .

At present..my English still suck!!! :blood: esp. speaking.... Recently, I took TOEFL exam again because the official score of the first exam has been out of date...and I got only 18 points in speaking... :uh..: .
