To forum admins: I'm following the formatting of George's Kalafina 10th anniv physical message book thread (oh dear I felt so nostalgic looking back at it :((() so I hope I'm not doing anything wrong or inappropriate but do please let me know/go ahead and change anything if you find something weird. Thanks!
Hi everyone, @Smiley and I want to make a giant Christmas card for YK to be put into the present box at the hotel venue. :innocent:
Everyone is welcome to participate in this project! Please don't be scared to join the party even if you're normally just a lurker here (hey, I am too...)!
Let's give Yuki an especially heartwarming Christmas of heartfelt wishes and blessings.


Card Design & Info

Format:
A2 folded - 2 inner A3 pages
Judging from how active cpm currently is, I don't expect to receive more than 20 messages?

Message Submission Details:
  • Deadline - November 24th, 2025 (feel free to send me any revisions before this date)
  • No more than 120 words in EN/JP
  • Your message will be printed out and pasted onto the card - you can also include a small drawing/doodle :)
  • If you'll be attending the dinner show, we can also leave space for you to drop a handwritten message (if you prefer)
  • Leave a note if you want your message to be framed in a particular shape (Christmas bell? Tree? Or flower, music symbol etc. I'll try my best to accomodate)
Please send your message to me either via DM here, or directly reply to this thread.
You can edit your message as many times as you want before the deadline.

Dear MushiMushi,

I have to say: This is a truely wonderful project, and I'm in, as soon as I found out what to write. ; )
Though I am not sure what to write, as it should not be too generic or too expressive.
In school back then we learned to be expressive as possible, and at minimum write 2 A4 pages front and back, but later in work environment we were told to be as short and precise as possible (too long did not read).

Going to write you a PM about what I'd write. Please advise if inappropriate.. ^^'

I'm not super creative, and it might be kinda lame and tired, but I wanted to share some lyrics of dreamport because i feel that bit captures an adéquate sentiment

Dear, it's not lame AT ALL!!!! There were times I wrote some Kajiura lyrics in my messages to her or to the utahimes too, I think it's a wonderful way to express feelings that both you and the recipient can interpret beautifully, also reflecting the unique flavours of a song that particularly resonate within you! :shy:
