I am sooo sick of my back hurting. Went in yesterday to get a treatment for it, but it hurt so much this morning I had to switch to working the bookstore tomorrow. I felt bad but I could barely move. ugh.

Trying to get into uni is indeed stressful...it feels like the do-or-die end of the world is coming :cry:
Thanks Cerise :touched:
Still trying to find more efficient methods of learning than so as not to waste my time on unnecessary stuffs, but haven't found a good one so far. I haven't even touched my games in the past week :...: And now I have another mountain of homework :uh..:
I promised myself to take care of half of those last weekend, but I couldn't :vortex: I can't even concentrate now since I'm so damn tired :blood:

^ Have you tried an SRS, like this site?

They're mainly used for languages, but I use it for my psychology, politics and history, and it's very decent providing you keep going to it regularly. It's very good for things like facts and figures, but it's also good for things like definitions and you can make it fit for anything.

For example, one of my psychology ones goes;
Question: What are the disadvantages of using a〖case study〗?
First Answer: Individual cases, decreasing population validity.
Second Answer: Retrospective data is liable to change, decreasing reliability.

If you condense your notes like that, it becomes very easy for the SRS to be edited to suit you memorising the key points of your answers. All of my lessons are essay-writing lessons, so I have to summarise them that way, but it can also easily be done for the sciences.

Also, have you tried summarising your notes in a word document or forum and organising them, like I'm (still doing) here? Just doing something active with your material can help it stick in your head more than just simple repetition, so have you also tried teaching or explaining the things you're learning to another person?

^Thank you very much for the advice. I started using SRS 2 months ago and it worked well for me :) Most of my homework right now are about solving math problems and writing essays, but I already took care of other stuffs that can be used with an SRS :D
I often try summarising my notes with mindmaps, which didn't work well for me for some reasons, but I haven't tried organising things in a forum or do sth active with my materials. Teaching stuffs I've learnt to another person sounds like a good idea too, so I'm gonna try these when I have time. Again, thank you very much :bow:

^ If you ever want to teach me some stuff, I'm more than willing to give it a listen. I'm always looking to expand my horizons, so to speak, and I enjoy learning new things. I can also help you organise things, but that's more for my enjoyment than anything because sjafnsjkafa I love organising.

Still feeling kind of meh. I actually can't wait to work at the arcade on Friday. But it still seems like a long ways away, it seems like it's later in the week. *sigh*

^ Aren't moles just the chemical measurement on how many particles are in the element? It's supposed to be based off carbon-12, but the formula we learnt was that;
one mole = weight of sample (g) / molar weight (g/mol)

iirc the molar weight is equal to the atomic mass on the periodic table.

I've not done chemistry in a year and I regretfully didn't take it at college, so take this with a grain of salt. Or a mole of salt--

^ I think it's something like that? I have no idea lol...and I'm meant to be studying it... :blood: :ohoho:

^ I can try and explain it to you via PM or something else if you want?

On Topic: I wanna go back to college already! 2 months of break is far too long.

I know I keep complaining about my back here, but I am sick of it. I have tried nearly everything short of surgery again. ugh... I am still having major pain and spasms. And I am also kind of mad at my cousin again since she wants to "relax" tonight after being on vacation for 4 days, what is that? I thought the point of vacation was to relax... oy.
