Last week, our president refused to pardon those two guys who the state claims responsible for last year's subway explosion in Minsk. And now it's announced that that the sentence was executed two days after that, with an official announcement of the date following only now.
This is it. The victim list has increased by two. The two whose guilt was never proven, but the court disregarded EVERY flaw in the evidence in a manner you wouldn't expect from an institution which calls itself a court.

And that's not all, folks!

Today's also seen an OFFICIAL announcement that all the data on the case will be destroyed.

In your face, Belarusians. In your face, Europe. Although the only effect this had on Europe will likely enrage our officials anyway - it's all but confirmed that the 2014 Ice Hockey World Championship, formerly due to take place in Minsk will be relocated.
You know what might be the scariest of all? Dictators never know when to stop. The wages have been artificially boosted recently, meaning the national currency will soon collapse further, and people will start protesting again. Who can guarantee that there won't be ANOTHER explosion to distract them again?
