Police were shot at, many more business were burned and looted, plus there were muggings on streets. Cars were set on fire and upturned, and I think a church was burned down. Not to mention the masked gangs that were wandering around the Northern Quarter with hockey sticks and axes, throwing bricks at officers. And the fact they had to actually put the army on alert.

Why doesn't every country have values like this? It would make the world a much better place.

Ask away, I don't mind answering. ...Though, for this, I only have unpleasant accusations of incompetence towards those in the Government right now. It was they who made cuts to the fire department and the police department, so obviously they're not as well-equipped to deal with it.

Every time the Tories get in, riots happen. Why do people still vote for them? Are we all masochistic? EDIT: Oh, dear. And the official police report so far says there were 155 fires and 100 lootings, too.

I know this sounds like the ideal holiday location, but don't be too quick to start booking. :voodoo:

I just realized that chances of Kalafina touring England have decreased substantially. I doubt a charred and hostile ruin of a city filled with violent rioters is very appealing to them as a place to perform.
