It takes a while to figure out, though. When I first listened to Love Come Down and such, I knew that I didn't like something about the song but I wasn't sure what. It took me forever to realize that it was Nishikawa...

That's okay. I personally think he's great, but to each their own.

I don't like Love Come Down, but it's because of the song itself ahuahuahu Really not my cup of tea.

Since both of you are here, let me ask you a question that may be confusing and difficult to answer: what do you think of segments in a song that are long? Do you like it or does it bother you?

Hum, like a certain part of the song that goes on for a quite a while. It's just that this seems to happen more with instrumental songs. Let's see, an example from Kajiura...The violin section from Let the stars fall down, from the beginning of the song. That's what I mean by segment.

For the segment thing...well, it depends on the type of segment it is. They differ a lot - I like the violin in Parallel Hearts, but I don't like the sax in Hitorigoto. The most important thing is how interesting the instrumentals are, I suppose.

Hum...

It's just that, lately I've been listening more to OSTs rather than vocal songs, and sometimes there are segments (what I consider to be a segment anyway) that are so freaking long and don't seem to add anything to the song. It's just dragging. So that's why I asked you two to see if I was the only that felt like this XD
