Ive seen a lot of online cosplays but rarely are this good.
 
Maybe, if your budget allows you can buy there or you still have the option of making the cosplay with your own clothes.

Hope I didn't bug you with all my questions :plz:

i love cosplays too, but i prefer to self-design simple lolita dress than cosplay from popular artist / chara, since... it is too hard, have to prepare lots of similiar things.... it must be hard.
and though i can sewing too, i can't make dresses (i once made dress for barbie, but it was wrong in its size ._.), so usually i made the design and my mom sew it for me :sohappy: :sohappy:
and that creamy-coloured dresses of Kalafina are my favorite, too! :shy: :dote: i love the three of them~

aaaanyway, why don't you be a seamsress (?) online? not all people who loves cosplay can sew their own cosplay things, right?
so you can do things you love, and produce money too~ :plot: :ayashii:

Yeah, I know what you mean. I do my own desings too, but after hearing that Kalafina would come to Germany I thought 'Now or never'.

Thank you :shy: I thought about opening a "cosplay shop" and offer sewing cosplay dresses (Kalafina, etc), but honestly I don't trust myself enough to produce something that's worth the money of a customer. My dresses aren't really professional, if you take a really close look :desksweat:

Maybe, when I have more experience in sewing and pattern creating, I will do it as a side job. The only thing I know for sure is that I won't stop sewing cosplays and my own designs (although my sewing machine is from hell :blood: ), cause I really really really love it and can't get enough of it.

I draw the much more simple design sso my mom can sew it, and my mom still modify my design, "Your design is too fluffy and lacy and weird, so i sew it with less lace~" she said. :uh..:
but well, better have less lace than none ._.

hmmm why don't you ask to 'real' seamsresses? i'm sure they'll give you good suggestions~
but from what i can see, your dress is quite nice :shy:
 
WOW :waii: these are amazing. Absolutely not to compare with mine. If I have time I will try to uplaod a collage of some of my drawings (I made a collage for an Ayumi Hamasaki Fanbook, in hopes that this book will reach Ayu *prays*)

I would love to see some of your designs sewn. They must be sooooo pretty.

Oh thank you :chuu: I've tried so many seamstresses and most of them were like 'Oh why should I help you??? If I help you, you won't have to let me sew it.' It's always about the money and they are SOOOOOO goddamn expensive...

For now I'm trying to figure out how to convince my relatives to lend me money, so I can buy a new sewing machine. I even consider opeing a project in a crowdfunding community to be able to sew all planned costumes (but this has to be well thought out.) :uh..:

uhmm but i dunno either about seamstresses here, since my mom is seamstress too and i can easily learn from her without paying...
or, my mom usually goes to boutique or something like that and sees some dresses and thinks "Ah, this kind of model should be sewn like this, and this dress is sewn like this~" and try it at home :XD:

is your sewing machine in that bad condition? :confu:
my mom uses the same sewing maching since i was born ~ +/- 17 years ago (?) (or maybe years before i was born?) ~ and it is still in good condition....
or maybe your machine needs technician to fix some parts, so you don't need to buy the new one?

Sorry some of them aren't really recognizable, since they have only been drawn with pencil.

Later on I will try to upload the Kalafina scans of the Animania (as soon as my scanner is willing to work properly again...)

Yeah my sewing machine is nearly dead. There's a problem with the motor. For a while, when I step onto the foot pedal nothing happens and then suddenly the needle rushes off (really dangerous for your fingers :XD:) . Plus it has huge problems with more than one layer of fabric, so any sort of Kalafina cosplay is impossible to sew :omg:

It's the first time someone sees these designs (besides Ayu, if the fan book reaches her). I always hide them in a book, trying not to think too much about them, cause they're some kind of emotional outlet at the moment :wai:
