once in time
you are my love
we're feeling low
in summer rain and autumn pain
I cry in vain

I miss you so
you are my (?)life(?)
in my soul,
in my heart

My version (by ear as well):

Once in time
You were my love
Revealing love
In summer rain
And autumn pain
I cried in vain
I miss you so
You are my delight
In my soul and in my heart

i'll go with this

but i hear "in crying rain" instead " i cry in vain"
and "you are my delight" instead "you are my (?)life(?)" even i don't know what it means :ohoho: :omg:

I'm pretty sure I heard "You are my delight" (in fact, Winter and me have discussed about that yesterday to come up with this lyrics).

My English is quite fluent and "You are my delight" makes perfect sense to me. *rolls eyes*

After all, even if it doesn't make sense in real English (which it does), Japanese people are known for using their own English grammar rules in songs.
I guess you just haven't listened to a lot of Japanese music. :plot:

My version:

once in time
you were my love
we fell in love
in summer rain
and autumn pain
and cried in vain
I miss you so
you were my delight
in my soul and in my heart

Love their version :sohappy:

Re:

I think the actual lyrics are:
wintersviolet said:
Once in time
You were my love
Revealing love
In summer rain
And autumn pain
I cried in vain
I miss you so
You are my delight
In my soul and in my heart
That's what I heard and got from spanish translation

Hmm....once we've gotten a confirmation, we should update the main page already.

Note that the spanish translation is by ear as well so we cant trust it.

So no update yet. Let wait 1 more week or so, there is also possiblity that someone will post a closer-to-the-real version :)

*totally agrees* this is what i hear, and makes a lot of sense.

"I miss you so" = "I miss you so, (so = then >) you are my delight"
?
:confu:

or
"I miss you so (much)"
"you are my delight" ...
?

True.

I second that decision. Ideally, they should publish an official lyrics... :plot:

Once in time
You were my love
revealing love
in summer rain
in autumn pain
(Cry in vain)
I miss you so...
(You were my delight)
In my soul
In my heart

Also by ear xD

Once in Time
You are my love
we fell in love

and autumn pain
I cry in vain
i miss you so
you are my delight
in my song
in my heart

by ear

im 150% sure that its "in my song" instead of "in my soul", i repeat looped that fragment 5 times and you can clearly hear the "ng" sound at the end of "so"

Isn't that becase Keiko has a strong accent, so she says "ソール" (sooru)? :XD:

At first I heard song, but after looping it for a while I think it is soul :@_@:
