I have reached Yuki nirvana
Hello minna! I'm aki ^^
I've been lurking around cpm for a while...finally decided to join :innocent:

Well, I guess my interest in Yuki started last fall, after I watched Kuroshitsuji...then one day I had more than enough time to be wasted at my computer, and I started watching lives of Lacrimosa...then I started clicking the suggestions...and before I knew it, I was in love

Later I found out about FictionJunction and the mastermind behind both projects, Yuki! :sohappy:

Now I've listened to most FictionJunction songs and all Kalafina songs :)
I'm trying to find/watch as many lives as I can, as they are GOLD (feel free to give me links...but just so you know I've watched pretty much all that's on youtube! kekeke)
I've also been watching animes that Yuki composed for (Madoka Magica, Pandora Hearts, Fate/Zero...)
Right now I'm eagerly awaiting my After Eden DVD & to the beginning CD :shy:
Oh and I guess I should add that Hikaru is my favourite utahime :dote:
 
Welcome aki, I found Yuki's music via the Animelo Summer Live concerts, (the 2008 concert video had a cover version of Nowhere from Madlax, the 2009 concert video had FJ Yuuka performing Nowhere including YK on keyboards, Yuuka Nanri's solo performance on the Animelo Summer Live 2010 videos, and I attended the 2011 concerts and saw Kalafina perform Magia and Sprinter).

Also check out the music of See-Saw, Yuki Kajiura's group with Chiaki Ishikawa on vocals and Chiaki Ishikawa's solo work.

I see you were done in by youtube's related video feature as well! That's what happened to me too! Well actually I've been a Kajiura fan much longer, since 2007 but I discovered FJ and Kalafina last year. Someone posted a Lacrimosa live on a random Yuki Kajiura fanpage on FB and I clicked it. 10 related videos later, I wonder why I never bothered to explore her vocal projects before :orz:

I got into FJ first though, Kalafina came later (even though Lacrimosa was the first live I saw). I don't know, I'm a bit weird, but I feel that things should be done in order. So since FJ came before Kalafina, I literally exhausted everything I could find on FJ before moving on to Kalafina. :ohoho:

And well, since you've seen everything on youtube, don't think there's much else that we could link you to. There is an ARIA performance that could only be found on Dailymotion...have you seen that?

Some members here argue that it's one of their worst live performances ever, but I don't know...my standards and expectations must be pretty low then cause I still liked it. Yes, musically there were flaws, but like my signature says, if I enjoy it then it's good! :goodjob: And I did enjoy it. Hikaru made me laugh so much :XD:

I might have...I've seen the live from Yuki Kajiura LIVE Vol.2, NHK 「MUSIC JAPAN」 Shinseiki Anisong SP 2, and Red Moon
(I've done a fair share of looking around tudou and youku) :XD:
I have my to the beginning CD & After Eden Live DVD now :sohappy: :sohappy: :sohappy:

This is about ARIA in Shinseiki Anisong SP2 NHK right? I laughed so much at this performance too. I was so :omg: and :XD: at Hikaru's weird dancing lol.

I agree it's not their best....but then again you have to consider the fact that they changed around who sang what when Maya left....I think ARIA will always sound off without Maya

Welcome! I am Lina. I like Kuroshitsuji as well and Lacrimosa, although it is not a favorite song by them. :dote: Hope you like it here!
