I'm curious too. Why is Acchan so popular? No offense, but I don't see anything about her that really stands out. IMO Yuko has more personality and is more interesting to watch. :punched:

I also want to take the opportunity to blame Yuki88 for pulling us all into the black hole of AKB48. :glower:

I'm glad I'm accidentally brainwashing everyone to enter the black hole :TdT:

Off Topic: Yuki....why are you not on chat anymore? :XD:

Back on topic: You and your black hole. :TdT:

As Acchan fan... i really don't know why she's so popular...
when my friend first introduced me to AKB48.. the first member I notice is Acchan and Sae.. lol!
And I've decided to make them as my oshi... (for no reason... perhaps...? hahah!!!)

JKT48 is OFFICIAL. http://www.jkt48.com/

even Togasaki-san (the manager of AKB48 theater) has tweeted about it, so it's totally official. First sister group abroad, in Jakarta OMG :white:
and my classmate said she wanted to try auditioning :TdT:

You know.... with your ridiculously dedicated levels of involvement, I think you should pick up the forms too.

In fact, just for you, I wonder how much concession are they going to make. :XD:

No, I can't. And honestly I shouldn't. I have to keep my GPA high enough to keep my scholarship.

Math: The Kojima Haruna way
(From http://haaato-station.tumblr.com/)

When people ask you to write the square root of 3, they expect something like this:

Haruna’s answer?

What is this symbol? Even Sasshi and Sayaka were dumbfounded.

Haruna’s explanation?

Root of 3? Confused?

This is how the root of 3 was derived.

Mindblown? That’s alright because we are ordinary people.

And that is how you do math the Kojima Haruna way, ladies and gentlemen.

LOL Kojima :uh..:

Speaking about dancing,i think this Mtv live is pretty good,dancing-wise (as i think teh vocals are playback?lol)

Check out Mariko at 00:28 and some others too for Begginer intro.I didn't listen to the songs after :P

Apart that i wanted to ask why they make so perveted PVs for cute songs :uh..: Like that ''I want you, etc'' song (dunno the title).

@winsta: Hahah, actually it was mentioned somewhere that Kojiharu was actually sick during the shooting of the show. :XD:

@lunaria: Haha ofc they just lip-sync, almost 99% of their performances nowadays are just lip-sync. They did sing live for TV performance back then but doesn't seem so these days. Usually only sub-units perform live.

and on to Heavy Rotation PV.... mind you that the director is a woman called Ninagawa Mika :XD:

^ Really? So they recorded the live version and when the actual performance they just lip-sync? All this time i thought it's live since the got huge number of members so they can sound almost perfect every time... :XD:

^ Well as far as I know, even Ayumi Hamasaki and some other artists/idols do the same (though not for all songs). It's not really a big secret. :tea:

oh right, I forgot to say that I love that performance of Beginner to dead :dote: :sohappy:

And I love Hebirote and Ebikachu as well :dote:

Actually, it reminds me a little of those American Idol results show performances, where the finalists lip-sync sing some random pop song. (To their credit, they used to sing, but now they lip-sync because they have to do forgettable dancing too.)

Honestly, how can you expect them to actually sing live when they're jumping around and doing all that complicated dancing? :XD:

After finally seeing them perform, however, I am 99% sure that this sort of group would never fly in America...over here we're all about solo divas/cookie-cutter four-person bands :uh..: Sorry for sounding critical...basically, I completely loathe current all popular American artists now.

Coincidentally, who's the Keiko-esque girl on the right here? She's also on the left here after the shot changes, or at least I think so...
