does the domain price depends on how long the address is? :huh:

As I heard from you the domains arent expensive (cpm = 10$ per year) especially since we are not going to use the birthday site apart from posting the present. If you want any financial i guess that the other members who have credit card can help you, personally I cant because I dont have but if I had I would be aiding you with pleasure. :sohappy:
 
My favorite is the 1st one, but i agree that the 2nd one is more suited for a card. Still, I hope Kerahna will color both of them >_>

For the domain you could also use a subdomain.
yukikajiurabirthday.canta-per-me.net for example.
I can do the same thing with kajiura.fr and host too if you want.

why don't we simply choose one free hosting... it may happen that she will link to the site and what then.. will we really pay for thsi domain every year so it will keep on existing just so that it will wokr since some people might see that link after a year as well?
Don't be silly..... just choose one subdomain or free hosting (like freewebs is) so what if its an add still better that than paying each year for domain.

i didnt want to host it exclusively because i wanted it to be like a collective project from all the fansites so i thought we could everyone host a copy but yuki would be so confused if we gave her 10 links :XD:
 
Uhm....why should the site even exist after her birthday passes. Sure...if its not going to be on a free host, we could keep it as long as ..say...1 month max after that, but it don't see the point in keeping it more than that.

And i suppose all the sites that participated(...or not) could show the link to the birthday site too....that is ..to increase Yuki-megami's chance of seeing the site. ^^

As for the adress...to put a year in it you could say http://www.yukikajiurabirthday2008.com/ ... k/whatever

well but what if Kajirua links to this page... and than stops working after a... week?... month?... i still remember what panic Kerahna started when she found out that the big pictures at Kalafina blog were taken down.... i wouldn't want to see other fans seeing leaving that as well... but its not really up to me to decide -.-

Well, let's say she's scanning that box with her eyes from top to bottom and that her eyes were accidentally captured like that when she looked more to the top, just as she started descending her view. ^^ Could that work? If not...a little mod to her eyes couldn't be that hard for our great artists...can it?
 
i got almost 0 experience in any kind of coding language XD so i'm out of the question. i'm just one of the concept artists, i suppose.... :XD:
