Been seeing these kind of news on my feed... Let's see if Kajiura will remain the composer for the Live Action

Seems old news. We'll see.
If the show even happens (which I doubt considering this is from 2018), I don't think they'll stick to Kajiura. I don't think the show or music are considered "Cowboy Bebop" level iconic in the mainstream.

Again, I just don't get how you connected tsubasa's ~"wonder if Kajiura composes for SAO live-action" to ~"she hasn't done a musical in forever" (via "she hasn't done the SAO games", which is valid) but if it works in your head, that's good.

Ahh that was the period I am kinda inactive....
