huhuhu it is the 400th topic and, so good ~.~
I remember when the forum was half dead xD
Today it is soooo different x3

I can also remember the state of the site and the forum while I just registered.

site:

different header
only two columns
the left had the red buttons and the shoutbox.
the main had news as always

from the button-sections there were:

Home, Forum, Yuki Kajiura, Yuki's Vocalists, Discography, Lyrics (not lyrics & info), Sheet music, Pictures & scans, Random stuff (current Recommendations) Contacts and Credits, Links.

from those, the forum was DEAD with only 8 real users and the rest were bots that were posting porn advertisement links , all the users in total (fake + real) were 65

the Yuki Kajiura one didnt had interviews and picture

Yuki's Vocalists had only 8 vocalists ( Emily Bindiger, Chiba Saeko, Inoue Marina, Ishikawa Chiaki, Itou Eri, Lyon Deb (different photo), Nanri Yuuka, Tanaka Rie)
no Projects part

The lyrics section had only 8 songs uploaded (between them was Akatsuki no Kuruma) and many many dead ones

From the discography were only 2 pages complete

The sheet music , and Pictures and scans section werent started

the Future Works one wasnt created

I am so glad were progressed like that within less than a year :cry: :sohappy: :sohappy: :sohappy: :aww: :hearts:

i've been here couple of times before as well but like you 2 said it was dead and i lost all interest immediately XD

Oh yes. i remember when i came to this forum. I was a guest and i was so intrigued by a few users here (after reading posts) that i just HAD to register. ^^ 400 topics...wow. We've grown so much. I'm not one of the founding members or even one of the ones that were from the very beginning, but i am so proud of us! :sohappy:

I totally forgot to say that in forum the forum system was different and the FictionJunction board wasnt created - along with all this discussion of Yuki's and Kalafina posts and illusion's traslations.
 
I even remember the first url of this site: naoise.kokeru.org :sohappy:
my first source of info was kajiura.fr (this site was the only info source in the net in 2003-2005), and one day, while I was searching for Yuki info there was a site called "canta per me" (but in those days this site was in construction :dote:, that's why I didn't sign before :cry: ). At that time, i thought "this is another fanlisting site" but now I know I was wrong

little sites that usually have no content a list of fans (and link to their blogs/sites, provided a link back),and also link to related fanlistings. they 're almost always really fancy page with difficult graphic navigation sometimes it takes long time just to find where the navigation buttons are :XD:

those are really popular and tend to tend up at the top of google searches

i met a lot of those while editing the dmoz directory for Kingdom Hearts, and i think i made an entire category just for character fanlistings, there were so many :omgwtf:
 
when i registered we had not even 700 posts... now ~9000 XD
i think rion and me animated this forum by writing ~100 posts XD
maybe users like maxwell and ayashii noticed that and registered XD

but we posted too much... the server crashed everyday :XD:

i was so happy when mido and pion joined and spammed so much in one night it was the greatest moment of my life ;)

then my host decided to CRASH all their servers due to an accidental "power maintenance" and couldn't get it up properly for days so i switched hosts :XD:

Anyhow, when i first came here...i think the first post i saw was "HELP! Midori is trying to rape me!" :plot: I was so amused when i read the posts in it that it made me look at the other topics/threads/whatever and i grew more amused and in love with you guys i just HAD to register and salvage what i could (salvage = corrupt)! ^^
