Drat. Drat. Drat. Ok, the other project that keep exceeding the memory requirements of the VPS have been moved to another VPS until I can figure out why. Probably what I should have done in the first place, instead of trying to increase memory. None of these are the chat's fault. It should...

    XenForo 1.4.5 Complaint Thread

There is a known issue of how an update to WordPress 4.2 changed haw Japanese characters - among others - are handled on the main site. I will be trying to address this as time permits. Should be fixed.

A planned reboot of our virtual server went... extremely badly. The HTTP/S server failed to start up. Other things are still failing. EDIT: All services should be working now.

Parenthesis are one of the characters that are usually urlencoded when submitted. Chrome* chooses not to apply this encoding when copying to the clipboard, Firefox does apply it. As long as the whole link is being detected now, it's more a browser issue than a client issue.

    Updating the Merchandise section

Late reply, but - @Firak : That was actually the site turning on HSTS, to make sure people didn't get insecure versions. Any images that used to be hosted on http://images.canta-per-me.net/ should now be coming from https://canta-per-me.net/images/ - or, we're one step closer to getting rid of...

    XenForo 1.4.5 Complaint Thread

Images formerly served from http://images.canta-per-me.net/ which, incedentally, had to be proxied, are now being served from https://canta-per-me.net/images/ ...because I have to pay for a separate SSL certificate for every subdomain and 4 is enough. This only effects the main site. All...

There are currently no Prosody plugins for this. I could look into restrictions from Candy's end, if abuse is a problem.

Done. Basic html & bbcode should be the only options available after an F5.

Yep, that's the forum proxy. It's specifically set up to NOT allow the scenario you want. My suggestion would be to reply to the post with the image, and copy the un-proxied url from there.
