Wooow! That power was so surprising this young. She's always been a belter. Her range? Very surprising! She went really low in harmony with the other girl oņ the first song. Then she went solo rock belting on the second song, and pop ballad on the 3rd. Still watching... She had a strong pop head voice too.
Her voice was so loud compared to her partner's voice. It sounded like it was overpowering everything else. They were obviously a unit - Junna and the other girl.
I am curious though Junna seemed to have a more metallic ring to her belt in this early video (maybe it's just the audio quality) but her voice seems to have changed in recent years as she grew older, especially on those belts/high notes. She seems to not be able to go as high and that Kaori-like metallic ring is no longer there, so her high notes are not as piercing and clear as in this early video, but a bit more strained.
Has she ever said who the singers were that she imitated? I could almost think I heard some Christina Aguilera in the way she did her runs down to a low almost inaudible level.
