I watched the fan recording of the performance of "ring your bell" at Guangzhou almost an hour ago.

I was listening to LINO LEIA specifically for those high notes, including for the bridge. She actually improved compared to that Fate anniversary, where she was really not good!

I'm quite confident that she's working with Joelle and Yuriko (or her own vocal coach) on her head voice singing and high notes. It was still wispy and light, but it's stronger and more in pitch (like Wakana's was early on).

That's something every singer needs to work on, but most especially female singers, and sopranos/mezzo sopranos of any genre.

Edit: The fan recording was equal to the unedited recording at the Fate show: no vocal correction/ studio "magic".

(This is "Magia", so your voice has to bring the magic by itself). 💪
 
more like a nier knockoff than Kajiura. It doesn't sound particularly Kajiuran to me but can she write this song, sure. I'd give it a probability of 25% xD

So, this means we can be expecting to have performances of "lighthouse" with FictionJunction feat. LINO LEIA as part of the setlist during the YKL #21, and with the choral background vocals I'm hearing in the PVs, some of those songs will involve the guest choir that is going to be performing.

Looking forward to more songs being announced with our core ladies!

We shall see.

I do think it sounds like a continuation of Kajiura's musical template for the anime, so I just assume it's her until we hear otherwise!
