Hi... I could not resist the chance to register in this awesome forum... ;)
I'm Tsubasa, nice to meet you. I do really like Yuki Kajiura music... seriously, she's like Mozart :D

My favorite manga is Tsubasa: Reservoir Chronicle, and my favorite anime is Puella Magi Madoka Magica... (That's how I got introduced to Kajiura world).

I still remember my first Kajiura song, it was Magia, if I recall right. Japanese music in fact is really beautiful, as it has lots of good messages, unlike the native music of my region...

My favorite Kajiuran songs are: A Song of Storm and Fire, Kioku no Mori, Tsuki no Shijima, Catastrophe, Credens Justiniam, Magia, Hikari Furu, Cazador del Amor, Believe, In Every Nothing, My Dear Feather and I Talk to the Rain. To the beginning is also awesome...

I want to make lots of friends here, that's my goal :D

My native language is Spanish, I'm pretty good at English, and I know some Japanese and Italian.

Well, that's all *-*

welcome to CPM! Is it alright if I call you TsubasaLi? Otherwise I'm going to get really confused because there's already a tsubasa here, though he's not around much XD

the song that introduced me to Kajiura was Lacrimosa, but I used to listen to Magia at least 3x a day for a year :ohoho:
What do you think about the pmmm OST music? I think it's some of her best work, especially the movie soundtracks

I still haven't heard Tsuki no Shijima yet but I have listened to like 98 per cent of Kajiura's discography I think :punched:
in every nothing  that song's making it's way to the top of my most-played songs

where are you from, may I ask? And you should change pretty good to really good

Hi Aki, nice to meet you :D
Sure, you can call me TsubasaLi, but in another forum my friends just call me Li xD

Puella Magi Madoka Magica... wonderful, really beautiful and majestic. Signum Malum, Amicae Carae Miae and stuff like that... Kajiura is just a muse for me...

I've just listened 10% of it, and I'm trying to make an album about Kalafina (Images, Songs and those things).

Well, I am from Ecuador. A place where "music" is just bad rap mixed with bad words and sexual themes... and most of my classmates like to listen to that crap...

Kajiura music is 100000 times better, too bad that almost no one in my country knows about her...

:/

Li is easier then ^^

like a photoalbum? :confu: or a scrapbook?

Ah, I think you're the first member from Ecuador actually. But who knows, there may be more fans there (or ppl you can convert heuheu) :punched:

^same here orz

Just a photo album, to introduce Japanese music to my country (And to get rid of that stupid latin music soon).
I'm going to try, but not with violence xD

So, where are you from? *-*

ah, cool. Do share it here when you're finished ^_^

the US
well, I'm exaggerating, since the indie music is good, but as for the mainstream standards...I just don't understand the hype

Welcome TsubasaLi, we have a few other members from South America - hopefully they'll introduce themselves to you.

You might like to watch a couple of John Marr's talks about Yuki Kajiura's music:

[copied from another thread]
I like the bit where he talks about Darklore's 6+6+5+5/22 time signature.

Also, 7+8+7+8/30 time signature on the Image Theme of Xenosaga II, going to 29 beats (7+7+7+8)

mentioned in Yuki Kajiura Appreciation (Anime Vegas 2012) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u7rZ5hZRCkc

and mentioning Galza from Madlax, mentioned in

ALA- Panel -The Music of Yuki Kajiura - part 2 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MwZj8xW0RDE

Enjoy your time here TsubasaLi and feel free to ask any questions you have about Yuki Kajiura's music.

Hello hello! Welcome to CPM! :hi: It's always great to have new members joining in, hope you'll come to enjoy your stay here :w00t:

I feel you :touched:

@Kugayama : Nice to meet you, I hope we can become friends soon :D

@HimeWakana : I'm just learning the basics about Italian, you could say that I can pronounce the double vowels and the "Z" sound of Italian thanks to my basic Japanese knowledge xD
Nice to meet you, hope we can become friends soon :D

@a-chan : Nice to meet you, hope we can become friends soon :D

@Daphné : Nice to meet you, hope we can become friends soon :D

Gracias a todos :D

Welcome! I am Liana. I am a very friendly person so if you want to be friends and have any Yuki related questions, let me know. I love Tsubasa, the anime version was good too, and I was very happy to hear Yuki's works in it, it is one of my favorite osts of all time. I love pretty much all of her works though, especially Kalafina. Though, I knew Yuki before them, so I started out by hearing them in Kara no Kyoukai. Well, enjoy your stay here! (I am from the US as well, and I think a lot of American music is terrible, and I hate rap with a passion, I won't even get into that heh)

My favorite manga is Tsubasa: Reservoir Chronicle, and my favorite anime is Puella Magi Madoka Magica... (That's how I got introduced to Kajiura world).
I had a friend who likes that anime so much, but I've never seen this myself. I've only seen Cardcaptor Sakura and it's too shoujo for my taste. What can you say about TRC? So far I've only heard the soundtracks and theme songs are really good, thanks to Kajiura-sama. ^0^

I still remember my first Kajiura song, it was Magia, if I recall right. Japanese music in fact is really beautiful, as it has lots of good messages, unlike the native music of my region...
Ah, Magia's lyrics, huh? Most Japanese songs really have deep and thought-provoking lyrics in my opinion. *0* And I have never heard songs from Ecuador, but I'm quite sure there are also some good singers out there. I guess you'll just have to look harder ;) I feel the same for most Filipino songs but there are some that I have really come to like. Most good singers are those that are not even popular enough to begin with :( Ah, life's ironies :spotlight:

My favorite Kajiuran songs are: A Song of Storm and Fire, Kioku no Mori, Tsuki no Shijima, Catastrophe, Credens Justiniam, Magia, Hikari Furu, Cazador del Amor, Believe, In Every Nothing, My Dear Feather and I Talk to the Rain. To the beginning is also awesome...
I only know Magia, Hikari Furu, Believe, and In Every Nothing. I believe I've heard Credens Justiniam already though (the title sounds familiar). Is that from Fate/Zero? :ayashii:

My native language is Spanish, I'm pretty good at English, and I know some Japanese and Italian.
Spanish! Awesome~ If you're familiar with the Philippines, we're heavily influenced with Spanish culture due to 300+ years of being colonized, so we're quite familiar with many words from your language, although of course not with the grammar OTL Let's continue learning Japanese weeeee~ :study: And wow, Italian! So I guess you could converse with @HimeWakana a bit?

EDIT: And how could I possibly forget the most important thing? :wai:
:hi: Welcome to CPM! (although I'm a fairly new member myself lmao)

Puella Magi Madoka Magica... wonderful, really beautiful and majestic. Signum Malum, Amicae Carae Miae and stuff like that... Kajiura is just a muse for me...

waaaah... PMMM.. one of my all-time favorite <3

I only know Magia, Hikari Furu, Believe, and In Every Nothing. I believe I've heard Credens Justiniam already though (the title sounds familiar). Is that from Fate/Zero? :ayashii:

Credens Justitiam was from Puella Magi Madoka Magica Original Soundtrack Vol.1 and PMMM Music Collection (CD1) hehe. I recommend you to watch it. :D

@sprinterXkyrie Iyaaaaaaaaaa my bad! Sorry!
Currently on my to-watch list! I'll definitely watch it, weeeee~ *0*
Very intrigued with the plot and all that, that's why :)

Etto... I'm not that good on Italian to be honest. xD
I'm learning the basics, although I can understand a bit of written and spoken Italian.
Io sono Tsubasa. Un piacere de conocerti. XD

@sutekina: Well, Tsubasa is awesome. Really good anime to be honest, my favorite one. *-*
By the way, if you want to know what is the percentage of Ecuador's music: Salsa, Merengue, Cumbia, Reggaeton (The worst music on the world) and North American Music.
That's what I like Kajiura-san music so much, she's a muse, but people here don't like her music. :(
