That footage is wonderful, so much coverage of Alleluia and Sprinter too 
. It really shows they were getting into the swing of things just as it ended 
. I sometimes forget how deep Keiko's voice is until I heard her in Alleluia there.
All those good memories though
. Ahhh I want them to perform again. I wonder how much easier or harder it'd be to bumble my way into an actual concert venue without any knowledge of French if they were to perform a proper gig...

Today, some thoughts not about the performance of Kalafina, but on Japan Expo.
I really think that I got what regular attendants call the "Japan Expo syndrome". I sure really enjoyed the shows that Kalafina offered us, and meeting everyone. But, I don't remember if I already mentioned this, but I deeply regret not to have came on both Saturday and Sunday, casually dressed; I retrospectively think it would have been really much more worth my money.
I mean, seeing Kalafina, first singing live, then having fun, and lastly talking directly to me was priceless and one of my better experiences so far. But all the day was almost entirely dedicated to them. I only had the first hour buying mangas, the second hour following Gabri-chan and her friend against their will ^_^, and the final hour finally getting to know Varete, Seasonreaper, Martin and all the others... Which was great too ^_^
But at last, I saw almost nothing else of the expo. Maybe one tenth of it, no more. And I realize what the "Japan Expo syndrome" actually is now. Before this blessed day, I thought it was only an huge manga supermarket (well, some stalls were exactly this *stares at Glénat Manga*) and that it wouldn't even be worth the small car ride to it. Now, I feel that it's quite cheap for such an event. I've read that even people who bought 5-days tickets couldn't enjoy everything they planned to, by lack of time.
That's why, I'll definitely be back there next year, whoever will be the guests.

@Daiima I just agree with you. I only came at Sunday (and first, only to see Kalafina's live)... But Japan Expo is much more interesting that just who the guests are. This is one of our only chance to see our favorites artists here in Europe, or in France... But well, I don't think I could survive in Paris for a week
@Seasonreaper : Don't worry, if Kalafina planned a full concert in Paris, then, all cpm would be mobilised I think the french ones we are could help, am I right, @Daiima & @Daphné ? :) And also, if you survived your trip to Japan Expo, then it wouldn't be more complicated... I think :) I don't know why, I have in mind the idea their next appearance could be in London... But Paris is more "central" for the european fans, and maybe more accessible in a geographic way?
But ensure that no one will let you make your way alone if you need help ^^

Indeed, as far as I would be able to, I would sure help everyone coming here to feel as well as possible. As I'd make everything possible to attend the event by myself, it would sound natural to me to help as far as I can, maybe even hosting someone if I might do it ^^

I'll admit that your costume surprised me a bit XD but it was a joy to have met you and have you around! I did warn Jennifer but j don't think she was expecting it ! Meeting cpm members was even better than seeing kalafina to be honest! It just made my day!
as for Kalafina in London, hyper japan would definitely have to offer their concert at another venue in London, royal Albert Hall I'd have no problem with XD otherwise I'm guessing Lucca Comics in Italy or another comic con in the UK

If they do make an appearance in London I think I might actually die. It'd have to be a full live I expect as none of the conventions we have that I know of have live venues at all, other than Amecon/Ayacon which is now defunct as of last year and even then that was nothing like Japan Expo's scale or prestige. If they put on a show in France or somewhere reachable I might end up going regardless though.
I can kinda see why you'd want a full trip @Daiima, I had a 5 day pass and enjoyed pretty much all of it, although it gets very tiring. Having a hotel 2 miles away probably didn't help that though
. Live events every day was also a good benefit to the whole trip, although I didn't see anyone live on the Friday (too much Kalafina going on 
). I don't know if I'll go again as the sheer majority of the cost was from the travel and accommodation costs (those alone set me back over £500 for the week 
).
I wouldn't quite go that far
. It was wonderful though and it sure helped not having to stand around for 5 hours in the queue with nobody to talk to 
. Being able to meet up and chat with everyone before the event then rush in together was great fun. If they did ever come to London I'd be up for helping you guys out as well if you decide to visit. Whilst I don't live there I have had quite a lot of experience with the place, plus I know friends who do live there and are also Kalafina fans and would likely be attending as well who I'm sure would be willing to provide even more in depth information

. It's certainly true that having a meet made things more fun though.Yes, there are other fans in the London area. I know at least two, in fact, in Harrow and Chessington respectively. Not nearly as crazy as us, though, although they were jealous that I went
. I wasn't joking in the note I gave to the girls at the last signing session when I said I could easily rouse 10+ people to attend a concert if it were to happen, I know quite a few who enjoy their music even if they weren't willing or able to go abroad to see them.

London's the best bet really, because of the population size and the fact that it's the most well-known and accessible city for people coming in from abroad.
I could probably get a few of my friends to go - at least half a dozen probably. My only worry is that the folks on the Japanese side will think of them as being too 'big' and high-profile for tiny little UK events, while the almost complete lack of promotion from this side will make it an uphill struggle. We have a fantastic live music scene already, with loads of venues of varying sizes. I've read interviews with Japanese music artists who say it's easier to book a gig in the UK and other countries in Europe than in Japan! For anime conventions to get music acts and high-profile guests in general, it's a lot harder. Getting Shounen Knife to play Ayacon last year was a bit different because they're an indie band who are used to visiting here every year or so.
If the Paris event was anything to go by, the audience is very much there though (all 7000 of us!). And there are certainly a few of us UK fans who'd be happy to help make it a success!
