Pandora Hearts OST

The flute in "A Shadow" reminds me of Sleeping Beauty, and i don't know why!!!!

Also, i think some tracks weren't used in the anime.

I also thought so. I've never heard Dash or Cradle... Then again, they could have been played in the DVD extras.

VTCL-60169_06.jpg is corrupted , can someone reupload the scan? >__>
thanks :sohappy:

I actually don't like this OST much as there's not much songs I like. The expanded version of Pandora Hearts was just added an intro thing to it and then the rest was the same. Ah well, at least I can loop it over and over and that way it's longer...

NOOOOO! :wai: Limits has vocals  I prefer the instrumental, like in the episodes
Miracle just a sublime piece. I loved in the episodes and I love more now.

About Dash........ WTFail? XD

Cradle has been used in some episodes. The tracks unused are The Relief, Dash and Revolve... I think XD

The pipe organ of episode 2 is still unreleased... if it's a piece by Yuki.

It was like that since it was used in the episodes, it was not a surprise.

Restrain, Limits , Reveal = at last proper use of male chorus in Yuki ost

I wonder who plays the church instrument in Reveal :ayashii:

Well its Tokyo Konsei .. we had that before, it's just more obvious this time. I'd still like to hear a song like Kasahara does just with male vocal .. well actually anything that would be more serious than Seki or Miyu xD

hm, I didn't expect anything from this OST honestly. Yet I have found some interesting tracks which I would say "unusual" for Yuki Kajiura (in 2008-2009 era) and like it:

Gravel, Fountain, Miracle.
And I like tracks like Reveal (the organ is nice and the choir), Confidence (I find Eri Ito's voice and the electronic and the violin are annoying in the contractor)

Honestly, I find Yuki's vocal tracks are overrated, especially these days... (PH, RHH, KnK)
as well as her constant using of violin starts to be repetitive. I dunno why... maybe I'm just not in the mood to hear Yuki's newer OSTs, or my expectation is too high and too different, or her musics are too shounen-ish (not as dark as her old works for older anime).

Pardon me for saying so

It reminds me of it too! (i've been listening to it on youtube, since I couldn't wait anymore, plus i heard it in the show and wanted to hear the full version. i love it. :)) it's definately one of my more favorite songs from the 2nd soundtrack. i'll give my full review tomorrow when i have listened to all the songs again. hehe

I really like the violin in "The Relief".
More specifically, at 00:56 sec. :shy:

I just love how the track goes cliche and wonky, then suddenly captures us with beautiful strings. At first I thought the expanded version of Pandora hearts would be my favorite track, but those violins in The Relief make it a tie.

I can't decide which song is my favorite.

I also like Yuri's ghostly vocals in "Restrain".
And "Limits" sounds evil but at the same time it gives this honorable vibe.

Grunty's comment about Yuri singing in the bathroom made me LOL every time I listen to Restrain. Her vocals are so faint in that one it really does sound like she's singing in the bathroom. So I keep imagining her singing this grand opera thing. In the bathroom. :desksweat:

I'm still on my endlessl00pingproject of this second soundtrack. ^^
Still getting my ear to trip over the music again and again.

Oh and my top tracks so far are Pandora Hearts expanded, Relief, Limits, Cradle, Confidence and everytime you kissed me asdfgdasa!!

after listening to it many many times, I think I like this better than OST1
what a lame conclusion :uh..:

Pandora Hearts Expanded is awesome! Everytime you kissed me, Reveal, Limits and a shadow are quite good, too.

But I'm missing Bloody Rabbit 2 and Preparation 2 :omgwtf:

I think it had an okay conclusion, it just felt kind of rushed. any news on a 2nd season? I just got my soundtrack today, so here's a review, in a couple words or less for each song:
1. Reminisce: Very pretty
2. every time you kissed me: love Emily's voice, the song doesn't make much sense but it is an awesome song
3. wrapped in darkness: an okay song
4. Pandora hearts expanded: loved the expanded version
5. Open: o.O
6. wave motion: it's okay
7. The relief: very pretty, love the violins
8. restrain: meh, I like the choir
9. limits: like this one better than restrain
10. Dash: didn't care for it much
11. In the Dark: creepy :plot:
12. Reveal: like the choir again and the organ
13. A Shadow: my favorite song from the ost, very fairytale like
14. Beside: soft and pretty
15. Narrate: same as 14
16. Melody 2: the theme piano version! :dote:
17. Cradle: sweet and comforting
18. Gravel: love this song too, guitar fits well
19. Fountain: anyone else think of Zora's Domain from Zelda while listening? or was it just me? (that's not a bad thing heh)
20. Do it Later: heh
21. Naughty: lol
22. Miracle: I love the slow opening and then the drums :shy:
23. Revolve: violin version of every time... yay! heh
24. Confidence: another version of Will, my favorite song from the 1st ost, so of course i love it
25. Reminisce 2: very pretty.

There you go. Hope you like it! I love that Gil is on the cover, since he is my fave character of the show. I loved both the osts, if there is a second season or a movie or something i hope she would do the music. of course. heh
