Kalafina invited at Mezamashi Live 2014

Isn't the one with Connect live is LisAni live 2012/LisAni live 3?

^ wasn't it that Kalafina and Aoi Eir covered Connect at Mezamashi Live Island Tour then Kalafina covered it at LisAni?

Ooh yeah I totally forgot about the one with Eir. Ah well I'm more curious with their solo performance after all because afair the snippet of Connect live with Eir was aired before and I don't really like it, mainly because it's Eir on lead vocal and her voice is just not my cup of tea lol.

Watching the Mezamashi Live 2012 one, wow they really kind of failed on manten, Magia is a little better, but Hikaru sounds off. She's usually awesome. I wonder if it's better to have the band with, since they have more coordination that way. This way, they're just listening to the song in the background until their part comes on. Their mics don't seem to be loud enough, Keiko echoed, and I know she's supposed to during that song, but it sounded weird. The dance was cool though, Wakana looked powerful, tapping her heal. heh Yane is good. I don't think Hikaru was out of tune, she was just a little shaky is all. It's strange without all the other background vocals. It was still nice though. Wakana did an amazing job. (Man I want that instrumental version of it!) I actually liked the TTB sung here better than the TV spot one I think. They were all getting shaky in this song. sprinter was actually really nice. Hikaru was a little shaky in the beginning, but overall I enjoyed it. Keiko did not do too much of the staccato voice. It was better than their past performances. It seems like they don't try very hard when the band is not with them, which is kind of sad, since the Anime Boston performance without the band was great. Overall it was okay. Yane probably was my favorite part. I hope they still like singing the same songs over and over heh. Thanks for posting.

Thanks for the link and reuploads @aki @Kugayama @Cerise :dote:
This is probably the first time I watch their outdoor live (I haven't watched all Kala live vids yet) It gives off a brighter and happier feel, but I still prefer their lives indoor. Btw is it just me, or does the dansu appear more often compared to their indoor lives? :@_@:
The background music sounded so blah, but I was able to hear the utahimes more clearly b/c of that. Manten and Magia weren't top quality, probably b/c they were nervous or something. Was that their first time coming to Mezamashi live?
Everything after that sounded good to me. Yane live was nice, and Sprinter was very energetic. The way they sang Sprinter was ideal for an outdoor live (to me at least) :TdT:
Overall, a decent live.

Thanks for sharing and uploading! You guys are so lovely :waii:

@wormbook22 : Yes if I listened correctly they mentioned that it was their first Mezamashi LIVE and that they were kinda nervous.

Keiko running during 'sprinter' was so cute. Quite a feat with those heels :XD:

@HimeWakana :

It took the better part of 3 hours to upload but try this ...If it's mediafire, I think it should work... :V:

Thank you so much! That worked for me! :sohappy:

I've only watched Yane so far and it's not a great performance (all of them sounded a bit off at points, though this live was only a month after the song was released), but honestly I'm just so happy to see them perform it. So I definitely enjoyed it. I hope they perform it again for a DVD release:TdT:

And Keiko! She was so moved by the song. :touched:

This live performance is another proof that between all of them Keiko is the one who can perform live the best. Hikaru is okay in Manten, so flat in Magia, falls off key in her solo in Yane no Mukou ni (this one is really bad), good in to the beginning and sprinter. Wakana is off key a couple of times in Manten, :( in Magia, good in Yane, good with some flatness in to the beginning, and on/off again in sprinter. Wakana almost always have the problem of doing alright when she begins her part but then falls off key or her notes fall flat in almost every lines she sings. Keiko is great in both Manten and Magia save for the obvious sound problem in 'torawareta taiyou no kagayaku', good in Yane (that's why I said this song should have Keiko sings the verses), good in to the beginning and sprinter. She manages to hit the right notes and stay on key in singing Maya's part on sprinter with her running around even though her voice texture suffers a bit. Anyway overall the live quite good and listenable - especially sprinter and to the beginning.

No wonder Hikaru cut her hair short because her hair is pretty damaged - both hers and Wakana's. It feels so weird looking at long-haired Hikaru after getting used to her short hair for awhile now.

^She was like that in one other live too, I think it was on the Best, where her hair kept getting in the way. It was almost too gelled or something. They had their silver dresses on. I think Wakana was great in TTB and not flat at all, the others were a little.

Keiko and the others ran in sprinter on one of the Best album dvds. I thought, wow, it must be so hard to sing with corsets already and then run around on stage. I am amazed each time that they are not more out of breath. heh I would no be able to do that with the flashing lights in my eyes, I would fall on my face.

@Kugayama Thanks for the info

Dear Yane is still so forgettable imo even after watching the video.
Sprinter is good, love how Keiko managed to speed/bounce around the stage throughout the entire song.

OT: I must be the only one staring at the :fan: in the background.
Edit: Oh nice. But it (the fan) irked me a little bit idk why lol.

Did anyone noticed at 09:49, right after the magia bridge that the first word of Keiko was heard twice even though she said it once ? or was the second Hikaru ?

I think that's the sound/manipulator problem. Maybe the manipulator wanted to make Keiko's voice echoes but it kinda fail.

I think it was the manipulator. I can't remember which song it was, but I heard Wakana's voice overlap and I'm pretty sure it was from the manipulator

Maybe it was the fan's fault that they sounded so shaky, since at one point, all of their hair (except Wakana's barely, since she had it mostly up) blew around. I think they should save fans for when the band is with, though maybe since it was an outside one and it was maybe hot that day, they had to have it? I mean, they are wearing their ttb outfits, which are kind of hot looking. (I am glad Wakana doesn't sweat as much now as she did in After Eden live dvd even.)
