Hi, I spent a while last year looking up possible tracks that might be performed at Animelo Summer Live (many of which were actually performed and I enjoyed them more for knowing them), but time has crept up on this year.

Someone posted a list here: http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLBDE193E70F93E203 which includes artists not even announced.

Theoretically, the method is simple. Look up artists at - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Animelo_Su ... formers_11 - currently:

then see what they have released in the last year or so (via CD Japan or other sites) that hasn't been performed previously (or maybe has and is a real crowd favourite) and list them here, possibly with some youtube links.

Guaranteed to be on this year's concerts is the Animelo Summer Live 2012 theme song, Infinity: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q8Sg6bfxEqg

Yuki Kajiura related singers performing this year include Haruna Luna, Yuuka Nanri and Chiaki Ishikawa.

I welcome any suggestions, especially possible collaborations.

I reckon Eir Aoi and Haruna Luna will defs sing MEMORIA and Sora wa Takaku... :ayashii:

Persona4 Music Band

I just need this (although this is really useless, since the Persona Music Band DVD will be out this month).

^
Yeah. They mostly sing their character song for the character they've dubbed.

Don't know most of the artist/performer, so not really looking forward to this. Not to mention what grunty's said, the performances are heavily edited when it comes to the DVD.

Daisuke Ono? Is he a singer as well?

He has a few albums, I haven't listened them. I remember he sang monochrome Factor ending theme but that anime is kinda old.

For Ali project the only anime related song they did this year was another op theme.

^Nearly every seiyuu is a "singer" :XD:
Yeah, with probably only around 5% of them who can actually sing. :XD:

The line-up this year is looking pretty green, with a lot of first time performers. Gonna pass up attending this year again since I don't listen to the songs of a sizable majority of the artists here. :headbite:

I usually don't regard character songs as "singing career" :uh..:

^So, no JAM Project, Masami Okui or Nana Mizuki? It's the beginning of the end lol

^
They're performing in Anisama in Shanghai 2012-Next Stage- instead. ^^

^Oh, my. That means I have to revise my plans of attending Animelo :ohoho: (not that it's gonna happen anytime soon anyway /shot)

^ Well, I did revise my plans and saw Nana Mizuki in Akita and Aomori last weekend (-:. It just meant staying in Japan for 3 weekends to see Nana-chan, Anisama, and YK Live #9.

The concert went by too fast. Strong performances by Haruna Luna and LiSA, took a little while to recognise Yuuka Nanri with shorter hair, Akino + Bless 4 were a 2 ultra-orange cyalume act.

Only one surprise guest that really wowed me - Hiroko Moriguchi - who was worth the concert just to hear her sing ETERNAL WIND~ほほえみは光る風の中~

Set list:

and already updated to:

Looking forward to tomorrow's concert, even with a back seat.

^Hiroko Moriguchi sang Eternal Wind :ghost: As Animelo's band is top rank, finally this song might have had a decent live performance. I wanna see that so much :TdT:

^ Just updated my message as you posted. I was almost crying when I heard Eternal Wind as it was so beautiful.

^I love this song so much, I even bought a cheap used Best Of of Moriguchi just because of it - and it was worth every cent. To me, the original instrumental remains unrivalled, and the only down point of the original version is Moriguchi herself, because she sounded like a generic 15 year old Japanese girl. Now, her voice has its own personality. So, now I think I may have the chance to hear a live version with today's Moriguchi and a good instrumental. I saw around half-dozen live versions around YT and they were all pale compared to the original.
