AKA The Road to Kalafina/FictionJunction groups since many people seem to be getting tired of Kalafina. I purposely included links to tv-sizes where it was possible and only listed OP/ED songs cause insert songs would be additional effort. ;p Hopefully I didn't skip anything.

Thanks! If we include character songs the list will grow larger since there are from Aquarian Age, noir, tsubasa, gundam seed and destiny, mai otome and also its only the fairytale.
 
AH the 2000s! With so many of our newer members coming in thanks to Kalafina (nothing wrong with that it's just how it is) it's nice to look back to the early years where some of us got introduced to her. Sayanora Solitia still chokes me up today and I love the violin they use in it, brief but effective. STOP, ESSAY TIME!

I always found Edge to be such a quirky opening in Liminality, it's a great song and I love it but I feel like it belongs more in the Tsubasa universe lol. Senya ichiya I always associate more with SIGN because I heard it there first as an insert song. Kimi ga ita monogatari is perhaps my favorite of the OPs I feel it encompasses the franchise as a whole as for Kimi ga ita monogatari I like the version from Dream Field morose than the anime edit which was a faster tempo. And I love Twilight Sea the ED, curious that always was the same when the OPs changed episode to episode.

Obsession is a good song but I think the TV edit is more effective and Yasashii Yoake is such a lovely song I can always listen to time and time again. One of only two occasions I can think of where an ending theme was used as a leitmotif (though mostly the flute portion not much else) in the score,until Bokudake.

I always liked the OPs and EDs of MADLAX, I like to joke some of the lyrics even foretold future Kajiura works as Pandora comes up in Hitomi no Kakera and Tsubasa comes up in Inside your Heart and who can forget the powerful "I'm Here" or the crazy "Nowhere" (yamani chants power MADLAX)

I'd better stop here or this will get insanely long!

I think you meant Kioku for the 2nd Kimi ga ita mention. :P Unless you really meant Kimi ga ita Dream Field mix which I personally consider a mess. ;p
I completely agree with Obsession though - for me the full version lacks that focus the tv-size has. I assume it was meant to be a hypnotizing track but for whatever reason it just doesn't quite grab me, too many on/off moments where nothing seemingly happens.

Both of those had lyrics by Yuuho Iwasato. I have Endless Sky at fromjapan.co.jp about to be shipped to me.
