Sound directors arent tied to producers or studios. They can pick and choose their projects like any other worker in this industry. In fact, there's a high chance he contacted Kajiura for this project since it doesn't seem like anyone else on the staff was connected to her.

The director of this series (Tachibana, Masaki) worked with her before through Noir but as an episode director and storyboarder I think? Surprisingly, if MTL is right, Princess Principal official twitter said that choosing Kajiura is unanimous decision (Director, scripwriter, production team?). Then they contacted Lantis for consent and got OK.

As for the Sound Director, I may slightly agree to george but rather Kajiura-san "recommended" him is the better term :)
I still prefer the Sound Director in Zaregoto though. :glasses:

Back to Pripri music discussion: moonlight melody ed and its piano version on this episode :TdT:
I hope it would be a full song and not a Mada dame yo treatment :blood:
Remi could have a big chance of singing this one considering she's prominent on this series though Dorothy and Dorothy's Dad/Beatrice duet would be nice. They could also add a clean version of the special ed as the male chorus freestyle singing has a nice touch to the song.

^I wish there were just more jazzy tracks. 6 episodes in and there have only been like 4, 3 of which we already heard in promo materials.

haha cant wait to listen it :D

[EDIT]
The song was really cute. and the melody so joyful and new! The title is in the ED sequeence but cant read XD
I also really liked the violin bgm after they laundry place was repaired.

Im wondering if this song was sang by a children chorus ?

Here you go, i put on same file 2 edits of the song that appear on the ep. One is a capella, and other is with percussion

Song was pretty nice; I'm liking how they put in these diegetic Kajiura songs.

The episode was hilarious. Nothing happened story wise, but the whole concept was so silly and nonsensical I can't hate it.

Okay... just watched Ep 6. Wow... the ending. I feel bad for Dorothy, or Daisy. (I keep forgetting that this is set in London, so when they referred to the Japanese as weird in Ep 5 I kind of laughed. Also... that train music! Wow. I want this soundtrack so badly now! Gaaaah Sept is going to be so awesome towards the end of the month! Hehe I just wish I could skip ahead) Hopefully will get to the recent one as I want to hear the laundry song. lol

Because when I get migraines I can't read and watch things at the same time... which has been happening too often. But I did watch ep 7 and I don't know, the song was okay. I couldn't hear if there was any new music other than that though in this ep, but then again I can't really tell, except for ep 5 which was so epic! heh

I found the radio shows on youtube and managed to listen to some of them. The battle bgm from the train episode is actually part of the second japanese sounding bgm and the a flute plays throughout the majority of the track. The part that we heard during the anime seems to be a bridge. There was also another track that sounds like an extension of the first japanese sounding bgm.

I'm not really sure if all the music from these radio shows is by Kajiura since some of them sound pretty different.
