It's been a while since last time.
The lazy guy learning piano has found the .hack//SIGN Original Sound Track #1 (2002). Contains quite a few interesting piano pieces..
Starting out with "Silent Life" a new way of playing has been implemented for me. The piano guys will freak out, seeing my technique, I'm sure.. ^^' - I'm still working on this, and also trying to fix the weird flying 5th finger bug, alltogether with the pushed through finger tips.. ^^'''
Anyway, I tried to record a recognisable take for "Silent Life" on piano last weekend.
For this I took the original, filtered out the original piano, kept the rest and put my piano slice over it. Please don't burn me for this heresy.. (^_~)' .. It's all for science!
Tried to use as many (yet known to me) Kajiura techniques as possible, tried to copy the dynamics, variable speed, broken chords, etc. But of course this can't reach up with the original piece. I'm still learning. ^^
Added the chords for the left hand in the upper right of the recording. They appear not to be complete though. (Going to find myself a proper piano sheet for the song.) - Right hand comes from memory (fed by listening over and over) .. so might be wrong here and there.
