hallo, hallo~
I registered to post in the AX11/Kalafina thread, but I'll go ahead and say hi too~ heh
Okay, story time~
I fell in love with Kajiura's music in the beginning of my otaku life with .hack//SIGN and My-HiME. The music had a direct effect on the series I watched in this "exploratory otaku" phase, as I figured out my tastes in anime. Elemental Gelade, Noir, MADLAX, Petite Cosette, among others introduced me to other anime that could present stories that I had never seen on TV or anywhere else.
Somewhere down the line (after being introduced to some... less than tasteful things. ^^;;) I found visual novels, TYPE-MOON in particular. Fate stay/night and Tsukihime. When I saw Kajiura would be working on Kara no Kyoukai, my inner fanboy went nuts. Ahh... Kalafina. And duuude Madoka made me happy. I hear the fanbase sucks, but I'm glad I don't involve myself with rabid anime fanbases. Helps me enjoy things for what they are. :D I had nostalgic flashbacks to My HiME while watching Madoka. Kajiura definitely helped in that regard.
I can't wait for Fate/Zero. Kajiura music, TYPE-MOON art and fantasy setting, Urobuchi Gen writing, ufotable animation, omg I'm not sure if I can handle this. aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhh
(I don't like graphical emoticons much, but that probably best reflects how I feel haha)
