Maybe u can also tell what kind of song do you use your EQ setting and what is your headphone/speaker/sound system


Anyway, here is my fave EQ setting , I use it for all most of my song for all genre, some of my songs only need minor adjustments from the bars.

Mediaplayer = KMPlayer

EQ settings = Techno (All time as long as i'm listening via big speakers or my sound system)

Sound system = Creative Inspire T6160 5.1-CH

Headset = Just a cheapy one

Media player = Windows Media Player + Audacity (sometimes)

EQ settings = I modified the Techno setting to get the right bass

I don't have a sound system

Headphones = Sennhauser with volume control and mike. I love them

I mostly listen to music via earphones, so it's "Headphones" for me. Although I went by "classic" once, liking how it makes all the instruments equally distinct.

Currently: DirectStream-out (Windows K-mixer) via the SRS Premium Sound DSP. I'm using iTunes.

Settings:

Alternating between headphones (Sennheiser HD600) and laptop speakers.

Because of its inconsistency in the producing good sound, I will be looking at ditching the DSP in favour for an external/hardware-based solution sometime later this year. But that will depend on how much money I have left after being bled dry by SMEJ. These boxes are freakishly expensive (even for studio equipment standards).

If I do get an external solution, I'll be switching over to J River Media Centre 15/16 + ASIO4ALL plugin + drivers for asynchronous USB jitter correction (where applicable).
