Fairly recently, I made a discovery that has been really bugging me, and I need help figuring it out:

I was listening to FictionJunction Wakana’s “Where The Lights Are” on Youtube, and it seems to be two totally different songs.

There’s this version, which sounds epic, and then there's this version, which sounds slow and operatic, and basically nothing like the first version (even the lyrics sound different), and they’re both from Fist Of The North Star.

What gives?!

It's bad enough that there are two Hikari no Yukues by Kajiura (one by Savage Genius and one by Wakana), but when someone starts talking about Wakana's Hikari no Yukue, do I now have to think, "...which Hikari no Yukue by Wakana? :confu: "

they're both sung by Wakana. The second version isn't titled Hikari no Yukue, it's where the lights are (though that means pretty much the same thing as Hikari no Yukue). And if you want to be confused even more, Hikari no Yukue is just another version of Lightseekers :P

Wow, okay, yes, I am even more confused. :confu:

I thought it was a case of some fans calling a song by its Japanese title, and some fans calling it by its English translation (maybe because saying it in Japanese is too hard or something). I didn't know one was *officially* a Japanese title and one was *officially* an English title.

Kajiura, you are good at confusion! :ohoho:

And even more, there are two versions of Where the lights are: one in Japanese (Wakana's) and one in Kajiurago (forgot name of singer).
