we were talking about this in chat

since Kazado suggested it a long time ago that it may be Yuki
and then people noticed that "Fion" might come from FictionJunction

someone made this thread already but then we got hacked :ohoho:

Fion songs:
- Madlax: saints
- Madlax: open your box
- Madlax: cannabinoids

Yuki songs:

- Dream Port: Sajin no Kanata e
- Everlasting Songs: synchronicity

there are more but i'm at the library and can't remember them all :XD:

Thought that too. :ayashii:

Yuki usually credits herself in japanese songs, but not in soundtracks...

- Toki no Sabaku (I think she sings japanese in this one o_O)
- Velvet no Inori

- circus, remove the main vocal and you'll hear a perfect Kajiurago by Yuki XD
- Shizuka no Kotoba (*_*), same as circus

I can't tell the difference, but I wish they're not the same person. I don't know why I wish this ... :uh..:

She also sang the chorus of "Velvet no Inori" with Kaori Nishina, "Mezame" with Hanae Tomaru and "The Place of Eternity" with Yuriko.

And, doesnt she sing in Play the Game from Tsubasa ost 3?

If you mean Kaze no Machi he (or something...Or To the Windy City) that is by Keiko unless your talking the backup Chorus not the main lyrics.

i can hear Yuki's voice in open your box and cannabinoids (it's the same voice we can hear in the live version of "the main theme of petit cossette"), but Saints.... it's a different singer (although i can also hear her voice in the background).

I don't think it makes much sense for her to be credited as Fion on one track and then as Kajiura on another.

At least in Yoko Kanno's case it's pretty much always "Gabriela Robin" (or at least I think so, since I can't recall a track with Kanno credited as herself on vocals unless it was some demo).

in which songs are Fion credited?
I only know in Madlax (saints, open your box, cannabinoids), and then none....

maybe she uses Fion when she sings high, and her nameself when she uses her tribal-normal voice?
maybe she just hide herself (isn't confident), because she isn't a true singer yet she sings with high octave??

Fion sings in...

Madlax:
-Saints
-Open your Box
-Cannabinoids

Mai HiME:
-Mezame

Velveteen Rabbit:
-Velvet no Inori

Tsubasa Chronicles:
-Play the Game

El Cazador de la Bruja:
-Place of Eternity

And i think that's it.

She sang so many songs while staying unidentified? :omgwtf:
And I think she also sings in Colours of a Faint Stir (Elemental Gelade).
I seriously consider that it might be Yuki herself. :ayashii:
