okey! now i watched .hack//SIGN, NOIR and Madlax, and i kinda noticed some really semi-desturbing stuff.

BEE TRAIN HAS ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA HOW THEY SHOULD SET UP A PLOT, AND REUSES THE SAME PATTERN IN MOST OF THIER ANIME! :omgwtf: :comeback: :knife:

Come on! theese 3 anime is liek:

step one: Main char memory loss
step two: Searches for lost memory
step three: Get's an "unusual" siekick
step four: Mystery gets cleared up a bit. search continues
step five: death/coma of someone important
step six: Lesbian scene
step seven: semi-happy ending.

I mean.... they are all build up that way... and all have one lesbian scene...

I mean, KirikaChloe, TsukasaSubaru and MadlaxThatCreeptSniperLady

do they never work outside of the box??

-And on top of that, i don't even think they make new charecters. they reuse/remodel.

Madlax looks like Mirelle, but is more like Kirika, and Margareth looks like Kirika, but behaves like Tsukasa....

sheesh.

Dont forget that Mr Mashimo is the founder of BeeTrain and director of all its anime (except two) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Koichi_Mashimo

Wikipedia said:
(真下耕一, Mashimo Kōichi?, sometimes credited as Kouchi Mashimo or Kouichi Mashimo) is a well known Japanese anime director and the founder of the animation studio Bee Train. Since the creation of the studio, Mashimo directed or otherwise participated in (nearly) all its works, for example, as a member of art or sound department.

:glasses: So this repeating of themes and plots is probably his fault

P.S: El Cazador has many similarities with Noir (even the scenes) as well as lesbian relationship - and love confence and the prelast episode, also "I reach to the Sun" is totally idiotly putted in the last ep to show how much the twp girls love each other, generally I think that the last episode wasnt needed and the plot ends at prelast

Noir, Madlax, and El Cazador are technically all part of the "girls-with-guns" series, really, so there was bound to be similarities (they even made references to one another). The .hack//SIGN plot wasn't a part of it, but since it's Bee-Train... n_n;; Well, the yuri part wasn't a huge part of it anyways. Tsukasa's memory loss seemed to play a better part in plot than in say El Cazador.

...though El Cazador seemed as if it was making fun of itself, with the humor and more obvious lesbian tendencies. The plot wasn't as important as the character development in my opinion :o I liked it anyways. |D;;

it's not like i dislike them either , but why can't they make a Yaoi scene instead? just once?

-but making Madlax lesbian?? :omgwtf:

I don't think Madlax has a set orientation though! (kinda like how Utena's sexuality is kinda ambiguous in Shoujo Kakumei Utena)

it may be a joke, but i think i read somewhere (that i can't remember :desksweat: ) that Mashimo-san wrote Madlax while he was druuged or drunk.

I've watched Noir and Madlax, and now i'm watching El Cazador de la Bruja. IMHO, i think the best is Noir, and Madlax is pretty good (despite of being sooo slow at the beginning).

well its just the basic plot so it doesnt really bother me

sheesh.

madlax looks like mirelle!?
i dont think they look alike, the art styles are a bit different.

Well, Margaret and Kirika are voiced by the same person (<3 kuwashima houko :dote: ), if that adds anything to the similarity thing.

Madlax and Mireille both are blonde and wear a red top and black bottom! :D? Not that that makes a difference |D;;

Finaly one noticing!

And the IRL Tsukassa looks like Kirika, too!

Maybe Mashimo's idea of the "femme" character is short-haired and for the "butch" it's long-haired because they tend to be the more sophisticated type? D|;; I never really imagined Tsukasa with long hair IRL, though. A lot of the characters in-game had similar hairstyles to their IRL counterparts, save for Subaru and Sora.

also there are other similarities
In all 3 anime the males are mostly the bad guys
For example in Madlax the classmate of Margaret who wanted to rape her or something and the boyfriend of Nadie who deceived her not to methion that the boss in both Madlax and el Cazador are males and all those James Bond like people who are getting killed in the 3 anime

I think that the incident with the boyfriend was putted in order to show how bastards men are and how better is to make lesbian relationship < I think that was Mashimo's thinking but i dunno ^^;
