Tv version, of course

Symphonia

Zutto mukashi no monogatari wo kikasete
anata ga kyou dakedo korasu wo kasanete
symphonia of time (can't believe this, even with the booklet LOL)

fune ni mabushii hanabi no you na akogare
mayoi to tamerai no izanai yo susumu yo

higashi no kaze ni kinou no keshiki wo hito da ketara
toki no me wo totte mada mirai ashita he to ima

akarui ongaku sekai no kanata e
anata no inochi ga ai wo kanadete iru

hito no awai ga hanasai furitsu mori
bokura no sekai wo ai no mukashi de yuku

kikasete anata no shirabe

This is what I got, anyway :XD: Those who notice any mistakes, please correct them.

Ooh, something new to translate :ayashii:

I'll compare this with the kanji from the booklet right away! :dote:

EDIT

One quick correction:

According to the booklet, it's 'symphonia of time' and not 'symphonia oka'.

I'd say their pronunciation was a little off :XD:

^ I think it's a great line, actually :sohappy: but I have yet to hear them sing it :psst:

From booklet:

ずっと昔の物語を聞かせて
貴方が今日だけのコーラスを重ねて
Symphonia of time

====================

Zutto mukashi no monogatari wo kikasete

====================

Let me hear a tale from long time ago
After you repeat the chorus of only today
Symphonia of time

In my heart there's a yearning like a radiant firework
I'm advancing on the invitation of doubt and hesitation
In the eastern wind
If I could see yesterday's scenery with my own eyes
I'd take the hand of time
Towards the still unseen tomorrow
Now, like a bright music reaching beyond the world
Your life is playing the music of love
The thoughts of people, falling and piling up like flower blossoms
Fill our world with love as they go
Let me hear
Your melody

Oh, I got beaten again :TdT:

Here's my version:

zutto mukashi no monogatari o kikasete
anata ga kyou dake no koorasu o kasanete
symphonia of time

throughout telling an ancient story
you only repeated the chorus of today
symphonia of time

mune ni mabushii hanabi no you na akogare
mayoi to tamerai no sasoi o susumu yo

the yearning in my heart, like brilliant fireworks,
advances lost through a faltering invitation

higashi no kaze ni
kinou no keshiki o mitodoketara
toki no te o totte
mada minai ashita e to

if, in the eastern wind,
I see yesterday's landscape with my own eyes
taking the hand of time
I'll still go into the invisible tomorrow
I love that line :shy:

ima, akarui ongaku sekai no kanata e
anata no inochi ga ai o kanadete iru

now, beyond the world of bright music,
your life plays love

hito no can't read it ga hanasaki furi tsumori
bokura no sekai o ai de mitashite yuku

a person's ?? is blooming and falling intentions
filling our world with love

kikasete
anata no shirabe

telling of
your tune

As always, if you have any questions as to why I translated something differently, feel free to ask me. :) For example, "kikasete" makes way more sense if you interpret it as imperative ("let me hear"). Or... you accidentally translated kyou as "yesterday"... :)

^ :white: Thanks for pointing that one out :desksweat: I should've looked it up just to make sure...

By the way, how exactly could 'kikasete' be imperative? I still don't know much about grammar, and I thought that a special ending was needed to make a verb imperative... :confu:

hito no can't read it ga hanasaki furi tsumori
bokura no sekai o ai de mitashite yuku

I think it's "Omoi" or "Amai", but I'm pretty sure it's omoi

I like it as well, but Keiko doesn't sing that at ALL :XD:
Actually, Keiko DID sing that symphonia of time. but the of time was after the music, and not directly after symphonia. Try to hear it again and you'll obviously hear it. Symphonia is pure love~~~~ :sohappy:
