Just found the single somewhere and it has some scans so I've attempted to write the romanji and the kanji

"Soba ni ite"

Romaji

Tomodachi no soburi de hashaideta
Funsui no mizu shibuki abiteta
Hidamari kimi no koto ga mabushikute me wo sorashita

GARASU goshi sora ga hikukunatte
Kisetsu ga fui ni kawatteta
Hajimete tsunaida te ga sukoshi dake furuetetane

Itsumademo soba ni ite
Dare yori mo nani yori mo chikaku ni
Kimi no koto mitsumetai

Yorokobi wo kanashimi wo futari de sagashi ni yuku
Ima made konna chikaku ni ite
Ima made kimi wo shirazu ni ita
Hajimete kisu wo shitara yubi no saki hanasanai de
Soba ni ite ne…….

Namida no youni ame furu machi de Koi wa mayoi tsuzuketeta
Kokoro dake mado no tooku tobashite ita

Itsumademo soba ni ite

futari dake de…….

Kanji

Also accurate for the Meguri Aishite (original?) version sung by Tatsumi Hoshikawa.

I checked again and it's the same. :p Just skips two stanzas after the first one. (In the Meguri Aishite game version at least, don't know if it was released outside of that.)

Are these two (soba ni ite and meguri aishite) literally the same song or two songs with the same lyrics or the other one doesn't exist or the lyrics are just wrong or what?

Can someone provide me with the audio plz

@ritardando
"Meguri Aishite" is a Playstation game! It used "Soba ni ite" as an ending. (rip @ Yuki Kajiura's Soundtracks [pre 2008] thread)

The Meguri Aishite version (performed by Tatsumi Hoshikawa) and Saeko Chiba's version (released on her Daiya no Genseki single 3 years after the game was released) are the same song. Different arranges. The game version lacks one stanza and refrain compared to Saeko's version.

Saeko Chiba also did the opening ("Koi no kiseki") for that game.

Hope it's clear now.

@grunty: I didn't know those are the same song... :/ (or maybe I didn't know the existence of the game ver XD)

anyways as for the mp3 click for the onion :XD:

It's in the old OST thread if you care to check it out. (Along with all the music that I managed to extract from the game.)

Ah I see! Thank you. I really need to get back to the old YK music thread. Really want to continue the review but sucky internet connection is sucky making it hard for me to pirate lmao

We were merrily acting like friends
bathing in the drops of the water fountain
You were so bright in the sunlight that I looked away

The sky beyond the glass is lowering
The season was suddenly changing
Our hands touched for the first time and we were shaking a little

Be by my side forever
Closer than anyone or anything
I want to be looking at you
Together we go looking for joy, for sadness

Until now we were so close
Until now I didn't know you
As we kiss for the first time, please don't let go of my fingertips
Be by my side...

In the city where rain is falling like tears, love continued to wander
Only the heart was flying far away, out the window

Be by my side forever
Closer than anyone or anything
I want to be looking at you
Together we go looking for joy, for sadness
Just the two of us...
